These rings are perfect for clipping items to your BCD. I use them for a writing slate, torch, DSMB, etc. They hold up to heavy use, and the amount of rings for the price represents good value.

Sturdy stainless steel design, great for key rings, especially if you live in a rainy area (stainless steel = no rust) or for camping trips. The only reason I gave it four stars is they were a little bigger than I was expecting.

Bought these because all of the kitchen accessories I own, like measuring spoons, cups, etc, are all stainless steel. One thing the manufacturers failed to do is use a stainless steel ring to hold them together!!!! I would think that's a no brainier! I guess not... After buying these rings there's no more issues putting the utensils in the dishwasher and having to worry about the ring rusting and in turn causing the stainless spoons, cups, etc to rust as well. For the price of these rings it's a relief to know you won't cause damage to the nice (and usually pricey!) kitchen essentials they hold together! Great buy!!

Use these for long line decoys when hunting sea ducks. Weights are around 20# running in depths over 100 ft, and these have occasionally been exposed to substantially more than that due to tangles and other adventures on the water. We've broken mil spec 550 paracord and only stretched one of these split rings a little (I'm not sure what they are rated, but they stood up to some punishment). I run them with high strength swivels and heavy paracord because they hold up very well.

If you scuba dive you need to have some of these as spares just in case. They're so handy to have plus they'll never rust. You never know when you'll run across somebody who needs one. We all have to look after each other in our sport.

Seem to be standing the test of time. Bought these in April, it I now June 13th.As you can see in the photo I used it on my flag to keep it from getting tangled up.So these Split rings have been out in the elements 24X7 and no signs of rust.

I have 3 German Shorthaired Points (GSPs). Anyone that knows this breed of dogs knows that they are all in, all day long with you. I take them everywhere and hunt with them in the Canadian terrain of Northern Ontario. I needed a high-quality split ring that would not bend, deform, break or wear underuse - one with a finish that was durable. Conventional keyrings are made of cheap soft steel with a low nickel-chrome finish that wears right off. I have had my dogs come home with missing tags or rings bent so bad that they were oval in shape! I started to search for an alternative - preferably one made from stainless steel. I came across this product and decided to give it a try.I was impressed by how thick and stiff the rings were and how durable the finish was. After running my dogs for several months they look as good as the day they were installed! My problems are solved! I would recommend this product.

Got them to separate my home keys from work keys, fantastic for keyrings, description says they're intended for diving equipment to probably won't rust either I presume.Not sure what to do with all the extra, but for sure replacing all the rinky-dink rings with these now!
