I am an expert snorkeler and this is a good snorkel if you don't want the ball valve. I tried some with the ball-valve and had some trouble because my snorkel and swimming techniques are old school. With this I had no ball valve getting stuck on deep down dives and could clear and blow out a lot of water with the ball valve blocking the water and force of my exhale. Anyways, I think if you're and expert and you don't want the ball valve this one is good.

I like the size of the mouthpiece. My son is smaller so the snorkel fits well. The clip to snap onto the mask is difficult to open but we got it after a few tries.

Took it to the Virgin Islands and had no issues whatsoever snorkeling. It just worked great.

I tried a bunch of cheaper ones and the mouth pieces are usually uncomfortable. Both me and my wife were snorkeling (I was in for 2 hours at a time, several times a day, over a few days) and were happy with these. They also worked surprisingly well closer to some crashing waves at keeping the tube clear.
