I’ve had this since 2019 (4 years so far) and still really like it. I dive regularly in cold water in Alaska, so have thick dry gloves with 2 pairs of insulated gloves underneath. The bezel on the compass is still easy to turn even with all that glove on my hands. Easy to read underwater. My recommendation: remove the strap and replace it with 2 bungee cords through the holes in the 4 corners; 2 independent cords, not 1 continuous cord through all 4 holes. That way if/when one cord breaks the 2nd one keeps it on your wrist and you don’t lose it. I had been using the strap that it came with and inadvertently caught the compass on my BCD shoulder strap when trying to get out of my BCD during a rescue skills drill; the pin on the strap buckle popped out of the hole and I lost the compass. Luckily I searched the sea floor for a while and found it, but learned that it would be better to have redundant bungee cords for security instead of the single strap. Glad I found it because I really like this compass! I would have bought the exact same one again if I hadn’t been able to retrieve it.
