Seawing Supernova represents the next generation of powerful SCUBAPRO fins. Winner of the prestigious, internationally-recognized Red Dot Award for product design, the new Seawing Supernova is a step up from the Seawing Nova in performance, construction, fit and versatility. The flexible Auto-Adjust central panel fine-tunes the angle of attack according to the strength of kick by counter-pivoting, providing a milder angle of attack for comfort when kicking gently, a more aggressive angle of attack when kicking at full strength, and anything in between. When it comes to frog and alternate kicks, the new twin-tip winglets increase control and markedly improve maneuverability. The Seawing Supernova’s innovative two-piece design, with blade and foot pocket molded separately, makes transport easy, and with the optional full foot pocket the fin can be modified to handle any warm-water dive scenario. The Supernova is the go-to fin for avid recreational and professional divers seeking maximum speed, power and kicking control in all diving conditions.

I wasn't sure about these fins, I'm a LOYAL fan of a different brand but liked the idea of them breaking down for travel. I just did my first trip with them, and my first dive with them. I am SOLD on these! First, Lite lite lite, they are like a feather compared to my other fins I use. And to break them down to fit in a tight travel bag, prefect! As for performance, frog kicking is a dream and I get great propulsion out of each kick and very easy also to kick! These will be my first choice every time for diving! Here's a little bonus too, they float! They do not affect you under water as far as I could tell, but nice if you drop one while loading up on the dive boat. ALL fins should! Now I have a size 10.5 foot and bought Mediums, I use 1mm booties and also have used them with no booties, and they fit and worked great. SOLD on these!!!

Great fin that I purchased as a traveling alternative to my Nova Fins. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's performance is on par (maybe even better) than the Nova. Very easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to change the boot type (from open to close, I purchased the closed boot option separately) and all these features give you a lot of customization options.Safe to say any diver that likes the Nova will love this fin.For divers coming into it from other fin types I also believe this fin to be a great option. For a starter fin it is a perfect option giving you the power and control you would find in a Nova fin paired with great customization options and the ability to easily take it on the road with you in your diving travels.Recommend it to all.

I know several people who swear by these fins, so I was anxious to buy a pair. I wear booties with thick soles for shore diving in lava and other rocky areas. The food pocket fits side to side but the top and bottom of the pocket taper together too much for my boots, making it uncomfortable on the tops of my toes. For most booties, the taper would be an advantage, eliminating up and down slop in the pocket. I wish they had worked. I didn't want to downgrade the rating based on my special circumstance. People I know say they get a lot of power out of them and they are lighter than some fins.

These are an awesome fin! I already owned the Seawing Novas and they've been my tried and true fin for everything except tec diving (when I use my HEAVY jet fins). The only issue was that they were a little long for traveling (and there was no way I was traveling with the jets). The Supernovas change all that. They are stiff enough to be used for silty ship penetrations without stirring anything up, and light enough to travel with. The fact that they can be broken down is just incredible! All that being said there are two issues and one annoyance.Issue 1 - The full-foot pockets are junk. I purposely bought a full-foot that was one size larger than the open heel, and they split the very first time I used them. They are going back for a refund, never to be ordered again.Issue 2 - How do I order replacement open-heel parts? Sometimes I use a drysuit with a thicker bootie, and would love to be able to simply swap out the back end (L for tropics, XL for drysuit).Annoyance - That tool ... WTF? Does it fit somewhere? What else does it do? It looks like it's supposed to do other stuff.

Bought these for light travel where diving was not the major activity. The break down function is great. It allowed me to stuff them in a smallish duffle pack my other fins would not fit in. Amazingly these fins seem to work as well if not better. I might just use these from now on unless I get a pair of free diving fins.

They are good fins that are light and have enough propulsion.

I love the quality of these fins and the design. I bought the large size open foot. With the bungee strap I can use any bootie from 3mm to 7mm comfortably. It’s takes a bit getting used to the kick of these. A little energy goes a long way. Don’t kick too fast or hard. Foot pocket has drain holes in bottom and front to avoid water buildup. The fact I can break them down for travel and switch to full foot pocket is a big plus. I haven’t bought the full foot pockets yet. When I do I’ll update. The downside of these is they are very expensive even being well made. They should last a lifetime.

Best travel fins, easy to pack in carry on luggage. Poor color choice but color skegs for scubapro fins are helpful.Little sceptical in durability of plastic connections, so far not a problem.
