Surprisingly, this glaze dries clear (I was worried it would dry an opaque white, which would have covered my painting), and actually looks very good; my only complaint is that it doesn't level very well; if you apply it with a brush, you can see some of the brush markings when it dries. Good for general craft use, but if you need your creation to be glazed with no markings, I would recommend a gel that can level itself (smooth itself out). Still, I'm happy with how it turned out.

My artistic 8 year old loves to tinker with all things art-related, and he begged and pleaded for some Sculpey Glaze for weeks before I finally gave in and allowed him to use his birthday money to order it. Needless to say, I was impressed. He was able to use the glaze independently (albeit with caution and a nearby adult--just in case) to apply this to his project. In the picture below, you can see how the glaze adds shine to the clay. Such a simple little addition adds so much to a project. My little guy is very proud of his finished masterpiece, and I am too!

Application is easy and dries moderately fast. I did some research on finding quality sealer and this one work well.

This adds a great gloss finish to anything you make out of polymer clay. I have only added 2 coats and that seems sufficient and it dries really fast! I did wait the recommended 30 mins after each coat and then 24 hours for the final drying time.The only downside I could see to this is that it says not to shake it, stir only. I am not sure what would happen if you did shake it. Other than that, it is a great product and will last a long time as a little bit goes a long way!

This is the only glaze I use. I make A LOT of ornaments, especially around the holiday season and this is the only glaze I use. I have tried sprays, that triple thick stuff and a few others and they all leave my art pieces sticky! Sculpey glaze is great! It dries with a nice, not too shiny, gloss. It seals clay pieces that stick out (ex. Facial features, etc.) It makes the clay pieces extra durable as well. I have also used it on ceramics. After I paint the ceramics with acrylics, I put a coat of the glaze on top and it looks great! I highly recommend this product. I wouldn't be buying it by the case if I didn't!

Purchased this to put a finishing glaze on polymer clay earrings; works great. Easy to apply, dries well and makes the pieces look very professional. Looked especially nice on granite clay and on textured clay creations that were made to look like leather.

It applies eassily and dries in max 30 min. I like the shine, it's close to the epoxy rasin's - if your piece is well sanded .
