How to use
1. Place the protractor on the turntable spindle.
2. Move the protractor and the arm so that the stylus is directly above point “A”.
3. Move the protractor until cross lines are parallel to the sides of the cartridge .
4. Repeat steps 2&3 above point “B”.
5.If the angle noted at point “B”is not the same as the angle at point “A”, move the cartridge forward or backward and twist the cartridge to bring to the same angle at both “A”and “B”.
Your cartridge alignment is now optimized for playing of standard 12" LP record. Enjoy the music!

Happy with this, well made and accurate. It’s easy to keep on hand and use when needed versus printing one on paper and making sure it’s to scale. The mirror finish does make it harder at some angles, but also is useful from the right angle.

It’s gets the job done. The black markings reflect off the mirror surface and makes double lines so you have to have it at the right angle to be able to read it and dial the alignment in. Comes with a case and a pretty nice and decent size microfiber cloth. Overall, I think it’s definitely worth the 8 bucks or so that I spent.

This stylus works perfect for both my Ortifon. The mirrored surface makes it so much easier to see proper alignment for us older people.

If you're just getting into vinyl, you need this tool to help get the best from your table. Soon I'll be swapping cartridges on attached headshell and aliment is critical for proper sound.

This is nicely made and comes with a nice storage box, but the mirrored surface makes it very hard to read and use because the lines are distorted and doubled unless you read it from exactly above, making it useless.
