I have tried many methods of digging fence posts around my property which has very rocky soil. The best method I found was to use an electric jackhammer with chisel tool, but it is heavy and almost too big once the hole gets down about 18". So I got this for my SDS Max demo hammer and it is the perfect combination with it's length and the ability to use a lighter machine. Definitely recommend this set-up for rocky soil.

Great price for this chisel attachment. I use this for rockhounding on my large hammer drill and it works great and holds a nice tip for a long while.
