Chose this product because of the price tag and the width. I fit a Bauer hammer as it should since it's a standard size. Made removing tile and mortar much easier! The extra tip is nice, although I didn't need it after doing two bathrooms.

The house we got has about 40 year old linoleum tiles glued on concrete in two rooms we are renovating. It's a tough job getting this old glue and the hardened linoleum cleaned off. This blade is not the best for this exact job. It's sharper than others, but wears faster because of this with these aged tiles and glue. To be fair, it's hard on all the scrapers I used for this job. This blade, though is better suited for softer materials.

This scrapper is great. Good weight, versatile and described accurately on site.

Happy to see that this blade is sharper than some of the others I have used. Better for scraping soft materials than hard though. Perfect for removing stuck on linoleum.

Pros: Strong construction, stainless bolts and screws holding the blade to the shank. Medium duty shank. The blade itself is stiff, symmetrically beveled, vs. some other floor scrapers with have a single angle bevel. Great that it comes with a second blades and replacement hardware.Cons: Short shank, will have to be bending down on your knees to reach the floor with this.

I was removing Spanish tile from a fire place and this tool was durable and did a nice job of getting under the tiles and lifting them. It is not a fun job and make sure you are wearing gloves and protective gear because the broken tiles are sharp and stuff goes flying sometimes. I wouldn't recommend this for a big job like flooring, but for smaller tiles on a fire place this was great!
