This hammer is a nice size and weight for me...As other reviewers state ,I also found the collars come loose on their threads with only a few taps..I found a quick and easy cure for this is to wrap some Teflon thread tape around the threads before you attach your head..This stopped the threaded ring from coming loose..You will need to experiment with how much {how many turns} of tape to use..To many and you cant start the collar, to few and it does not keep the head from loosening...You may need to add more tape after you change out the head a few times as the tape will ware off after a while..Over All its a good hammer and good price...

This is one of the coolest tools for making jewelry I have ever seen. I love everything about it. I keep on smooth hammer on the one side and so on the other side, I change the different textures. It works GREAT. I love it.I can recommend this to anyone in the jewelry-making business. You will be happy to own this gem.

I love all the options and its easy to change out! They do come loose while hammering so I'll probably have to use a little tape. Very light weight and not made for heavy duty hammering.

As others have said, I believe, the cups that screw on to hold the various heads/tips do not tighten down well; they loosen pretty easily. I have not had one come off, I admit, but I use extreme force to tighten and after not much hammering, I can tell the one being used (usually) is loosening. That is a potential hazard. As well, right out of the box, the entire head needed to be tightened; it too was loose on the wooden body, but that’s an easy fix.All in all, it is a very inexpensive alternative to, e.g., a Fretz interchangable head hammer and set of faces (about $350-400 bucks). It works, so there you are.Myself, if I find I use this quite a bit, I’ll probably take the leap and buy the Fretz.

One session of texturing a few square inches of copper against a steel bench block flattened the patterns on two of the faces (the one with squares and the one with the thick lines). The steel is of poor quality and can't hold up to the job. The faces will also not hold position because the retaining ring comes loose after a few blows, even if tightened with pliers. I don't know if this is an inherent flaw in the concept of interchangeable faces or just this particular implementation, but you might want to consider fixed-face hammers instead, and you definitely want a better quality steel than this offers.

I love this hammer with design ends! I’ve used it to make several jewelry pieces already! What a great idea!

Makes 9 different textures, works well, comes a little loose while using, but just needs to be tightened, it's not a problem. Textures are nice, you can't go wrong at this price, recommended.

Purtroppo la maggior parte degli innesti non si adattano all alloggiamento e vanno modificati. Non è un buon acquisto anche se la struttura è solida. Peccato bastava fare un controllo di qualità prima di inviare L articolo ai clienti

Since I just dabble in texturizing copper wire, this was absolutely perfect for me. I didn't want to spend a lot on several different hammers, so this was the best option for my needs. I totally love it!

Great for the price. Like the interchangable heads. Screw on point will loosen up with heavy hammering, but nothing someone handy cant overcome
