The strainer is made out of heavy plastic like material! The quality looks and feels good. While I am not sure how much pressure it can withstand, it feels pretty strong.I love the clear see through plastic so you can see the condition of the strainer. The clear plastic cover is easy to remove to access the strainer. The strainer comes out for clean up and it is easy to put everything back. Installation is simple, no leaks.A good value and effective strainer filter.

Very nice, small water filter for your RV or putting on your water spicket as needed. Very easy to open and clean. The clear plastic 'cut' seems sturdy enough for the water pressure that it may experience.

This filter is exactly what I needed to keep the chips from clogging up the works. I cannot believe the quality vs the price. The bowl is thick acrylic with a nice fat o-ring to seal. The mesh filter is super simple, easy to replace and there are tons on Amazon to choose from. Hopefully it holds up to the oily water, but if your application is less corrosive, I don't see these failing other than exceeding the rated pressure.Two thumbs up!!!

It's a convenient and inexpensive filter for appliance protection. it can either be mounted on the inlet side or outlet side, depends on what to be protected from. The filter overall works. The housing plastic might be soft. For repeated connection and disconnection, best to do it with fittings connected with the housing, not with the housing itself.

This inline water filter was purchased to replace one that needed replacement. The threads worked well, water flowed through it properly, and it did not leak. There is an arrow top to indicate the direction of the water flow. This will last us for years.
