Seaguar has long been considered the industry standard for fluorocarbon lines. They have many different "color" product lines (Seaguar blue label, red label, etc) and if I'm being honest they all work fine and I don't notice any difference between them. The quality is always average to above average and this one is no different. I specifically use it as leader material with main line braid while fishing lakes and rivers in fresh water and I'm generally fishing for walleyes, but often catching other fish like bass and pike too. I would call this line an average value, pretty much on par with all of the other fluorocarbon material leader I have bought and used. I really don't have any complaints and I'd recommend you try out a few different brands to see which ones you like, this one included.

The fishing line has performed well so far. I needed the line to complete a 3D print and so far it has held together. The line arrived on a spool with no knots and it was easy to handle. I would definitely use this brand in the future.

This fishing line is very well made and it has impressed me a lot. It was easy to put on my fishing rod, and I can tell the material is much better than the other line I was using despite them both being 15 lb test. I plan on using this to fish on the coast of the ocean. Overall I think this fishing line is a good deal for the quality you get from it.

My husband gave this 2 stars because it sinks as opposed to mono that floats. If you are fishing a lure that you want to stay long the bottom, fluorocarbon is better. If you check youtube fluorocarbon vs monofilament by Salt Strong. You will see actual testing proving that fluorocarbon isn't as strong, or abrasion resistant as mono. Also, as far as being invisible, they are identical when looking at them underwater. Since mono is a lot cheaper than fluorocarbon this isn't a good value for fishermen. Manufacturers of fluorocarbon lines have no research to back up their claims. Salt Strong did their own testing and found claims to be not true. Knots are ok, it would be a good leader, but not as good a value as I like.

I really like this brand of fishing line (I use it a lot). It is strong, abrasion resistant, and makes for really great leader material. A good amount comes on the spool and it is a great value for the money. Would recommend!

I got this Seaguar Pounce Bass Fishing Leader, 100% Fluorocarbon, 25yd Spool (15lb) for my son to use as leader line when he is freshwater fishing around the neighborhood with his friends. It is perfect for the freshwater bass and other fish we have around us in the lakes, canals and other waterways. He has been able to use it twice and didn't seem to have any issues and in fact lost less tackle and fish than usual which is great to hear - he is liking it for sure.The fluorocarbon line is nice since it is pretty much invisible underwater and has some abrasion resistance. We are very happy with this fluorocarbon bass leader and will definitely be getting it again.
