Fantastic little case for a great price. Tough, good design on the hinges and latches. Has screw holes for panels on both the top and bottom.

At any price, it's almost impossible to find boxes with lids that allow easy control panel mounting, but this is one, and the and quality and price are quite nice. A dedicated control box purchased from an electronics supplier will cost you dearly. Like many Seahorse offerings, both the base and the lid of the SE120 have a panel flange with six pre-drilled mounting screw locations. And the when opened, the box can be oriented to "sit" on the lid, so if you want to build a tiny DIY ARM PC with the keyboard in the lid and the display & guts in the other compartment, that would work. The case itself flexes a small amount if you twist it when open, but panels would definitely stiffen it up. The handle is overkill for a box this small but I'm not complaining, and the latches work fine and are protected by molded fins when closed. Haven't tested the waterproof angle.Buy one of the larger ones and build your own blinky super secret code missile launch suitcases you see in the movies!

I bought this specifically for use with an electronics project and it worked perfectly. The case makes a nice tight seal so water doesn't get in. There are also homes near the top edge of the case so you can mount a piece of plexiglass or lexan. Overall, great quality for the price.
