This night vision goggles does a great job of letting you see details in the dark and at a distance. The image resolution is great and shades of what you are looking at (if using IR) is clear. The 8x digital zoom allows you to focus on items or events that are happening quite a few yards away. The housing is made of plastic but it feels solid; the buttons are responsive with a physical click; and the focus knob turns smoothly. The IR light is very effective at illuminating things in the dark even at the first level setting. The controls are intuitive for activating functions and cycling through the menu options. This device records videos and pictures to a small TF card (included). The battery life is great, and I love how it has the option of attaching this device to a tripod. Having a tactical light is a nice feature to have for emergencies—it is very bright.A few things to note: - There is a slight delay with the zoom function. You hold the button, but it takes a few seconds before it starts zooming.- Even at the lowest brightness setting, the viewfinder is still quite bright for dark nights, and it will illuminate your face as you look at it.- While these are described as night vision goggles, it is more like a night vision camcorder. If you stick the device right up to your face, your eyes cannot focus on the image on the view screen.- It has a manual focus. So if you see something at a distance, you have to zoom in, and then focus in/out using the focus ring. So this device is better suited for animals (or events) that are moving slowly.Overall, this is a great device that is effective and very fun to use. It comes with everything you need to get started in a convenient carrying case.

This review is for the seanme brand “Night Vision Goggles with Camera, 4K Night Vision Binoculars for Adults”.

These viewers are awesome. I’m going to have to edit my review later to add some pictures that aren’t of my neighbors’ backyards so you’ll just have to trust me for the time being.I think there’s no real benefit to daytime use other than having time stamped images being in the same memory card together. Once the light gets dim this thing is a marked improvement, but once there’s not a light to be seen this thing gets real fun.For the best image quality, by far, you need to USE A TRIPOD. This isn’t like your iPhone! Handheld free-standing shots will come out blurry with streaking. They can still contain useful information, but aren’t exactly enjoyable to scroll through. If you can brace on a tree branch or vehicle window or whatever it will be better than nothing. They have a standard tripod screw on the bottom but I’d recommend using a cheap quick-connect if your tripod uses a universal system. You’ll also probably be able to focus more effectively in general with a tripod because it is somewhat sensitive / quick response. The IMAGES you’ll end up with at best are, in my opinion of course, very much like an average trail camera. There doesn’t seem to be much (could be none or could be a ton idk) computational exposure adjustments or stabilization occurring. So, the pics aren’t going to win any photography awards, BUT! You’ll be able to see what’s happening, count critters at a distance and record their positions and get them timestamped which is huge. You can also shoot movies, although they’re in a windows-only format and I just removed VLC from my Mac so I have to install some software so haven’t been able to view any of the movies just yet. I’m mainly keen on observing, and getting still images though at this time. I will say, not to disparage anyone, but I think I’ve had better image quality than what’s reflected in the current review images. Not a giant difference, but I think you can expect marginally better images with a tripod and taking your time to focus carefully. Again, I will come back and add some images to this review soon. The BUTTONS are all dual-mode and personally I get a little bit “which one is it? This one? No. This one? Oh ok it’s this one!” But I’m sure eventually I’ll get it down. The button illumination is great. There’s a “TACTICAL” LIGHT which I thought was ridiculous when I received the item, but it’s actually a decent light, but more importantly it makes a very noticeable difference in the resulting image even at distances I wouldn’t expect it to be effective at. I was quite impressed by its functionality if your situation allows such usage. The SCREEN resolution actually seems to me a little better than the images. It’s not the kind of thing where you can get up real close to focus better or anything though, I just find my ideal distance and generally maintain it through use.The ZOOM works, it’s a slow response you aren’t going to be zooming in effectively on a running deer for instance, but I suspect it will be most useful when a few hundred yards away and just wanting to crop in a bit tighter. The different modes all have their places. The ENHANCED night mode is kind of hit or miss but when it works well it’s really good. It also makes my shed security light running infrared mode look like a floodlight with the beam and coverage area lit up. It’s a weird tone, but can produce more informative images at times. The INFRARED is awesome. I haven’t had any other toys or tools like this and was very curious / excited to see just how bad of a deal it would actually be. Well, I was waaaay off base. I’ve taken this out in my yard at night and where houses along the river I’m across from are about 100-250 yards apart with deep 5-20 acre lots there’s large pitch black areas and suddenly I can see all their landscaping and outbuildings and little flower bed decorations. You can see ground type variation between grass rock or mulch, I mean just about everything. I got a neighbor couple to check them out one evening since we ended up chatting after sunset and they were blown away. And we were looking at things 50-200 yards away.

This item arrive with a TF MEMORY CARD which is great, but it is a pain to get in and out. It and the charging port are protected from dust with a well-fitting rubbery cover which is great, but it’s hard for me to get the card out without some kind of small tool. Putting it back in is not as bad, but meh. It would be super awesome if when you plugged it in to charge on a computer the files were read as well. I don’t think I’m overlooking anything regarding this aspect and I would say this is the weakest part of this product, which isn’t the end of the world by any means. When I try and review the images I always just fumble around I really need to re-read the manual and follow the instructions a couple times to try and use it better, but for now I’ve just been having fun looking through them. I’m sure in time my user experience will improve with review functionality.I haven’t been able to get out of town and go where I’m more likely to bump into some deer but based on my urban use I have what I consider high expectations.BUILD quality and AESTHETICS are awesome. This feels solid in hand and just looks nice, not cheap or flimsy at all. Not too heavy for comfortable use, and not so light to be worrisome. Also I love camo and that aspect of these looks great. Much preferred over black for my taste. Plus you can kind of see them better, which is funny. The UNBOXING experience with these is absolutely top-notch. The packaging is excellent, the storage case and neck strap and well made and both feel high quality and fit their functions perfectly. These would make a FANTASTIC GIFT for anyone who might be mildly interested in night viewing, hunters, gadgets, rural residents - they’re so fun and interesting I can see all kinds of people having fun with them. Everyone I showed them to seemed genuinely interested, even people I thought would be more dismissive.

I had total misconceptions about this product when I requested it, I had no idea it would end up being one of my new favorite man-toys. Again, I haven’t tried other products in this category, but I think these are a very good choice that are unlikely to disappoint.

Make sure to check any hunting regulations for your specific area if you intend to use these in the field during season, but the information these can provide seems incredible to me I can’t wait to spend an evening in the wildlife area with them soon just observing. I’m also planning to spend an evening on a river overlook and see how these might work for smaller traveling critters like fox or coyote.

One last thing, I do not recommend doing this by any means at all but one day I picked the bag for these viewers up off my kitchen table and had forgotten to zip it so they fell onto my wood floor. I braced for the realization they were going to be unresponsive or no longer work correctly, but everything has continued to work without flaw. What a relief!

Easy recommendation!

I have wanted a night vision scope for a number of years but their prices were out of my range. Over the years, the prices have come down and one was made available through the Vine Program so I requested it. While I am new to night vision scopes, I am not disappointed in this scope. I refer to the device as a “scope” rather than “goggles” because it is not wearable, but it certainly meets my needs. We live in a heavily forested community that considers itself a “dark sky community”; therefore, shortly after the sun goes down, our development is very dark in most locations. This night vision scope allows me to observe trees in the dark during storms to see how they are holding up in strong coastal winds. Moreover, I can obtain high-resolution still images or videos and record these on the provided TF (TransFlash micro-SD) card. I included some still images I took first during the day, then at night without any light, then with the built-in tactical light, and then with the infrared light. I did not do a good job of focusing the device with the tactical light so it is a little fuzzy – still, you can see even this small light does a good job of illuminating an area. I also took a short video but there was no wind, hence no motion, so it looked just like the infrared still image. Probably the only negative with this night vision scope is that it is described as “Not Water Resistant” so care must be exercised around water or if it is raining.PROS• The device is shipped with everything you need to use it including a case and even a 32-GB TF card.• This night vision scope (“goggles”) can be mounted on a standard ¼-inch tripod.• The tactical light is surprisingly powerful.• The infrared light has three levels and can illuminate for quite a distance.• The scope can record still images, video, time-lapse, and photo bursts.• This scope is shipped with a fairly decent, understandable, printed manual.• The menu is, for the most part, intuitive.CONS• Not actually a wearable “goggle” but certainly a night vision viewer and recorder.• Described as “Not Water Resistant”.
