This is a very common design in Teslas, but it also appears in other vehicles.
Will My Recessed Receptacle Work With the Buckle Booster?
Please use the image to the right as a guide to understand if your recessed receptacle will work with the Buckle Booster. Some recessed receptacles have a spacious area in which to move, with room for the Buckle Booster to go around them within the recessed area and still get the top of the receptacle clear of the Buckle Booster. In these cases, the Buckle Booster should work. In other cases, the recessed receptacle is snug in the back seat bench with no room on any side for a Buckle Booster and no way to pull the receptacle out of the recessed groove. If this is the case, unfortunately, the Buckle Booster is not suitable for this location.
Installation
The Buckle Booster usually works in all back seats, though there are some exceptions. It can sometimes be used in the front for bench seats.
1. Simply slide the Buckle Booster over the receptacle that you would like to raise
2. Ensure that it fits firmly at the base, allowing access to the (usually red) release button
3. Fasten the seat belt with ease
If your receptacle is simply too tight to comfortably fit through the Long Neck Pullover as you move it to the base, buckle the seat belt in and use the strap as leverage to maneuver the Buckle Booster into place.

We take safety seriously, so we worked hard to use the safest material when designing the Buckle Booster. Silicone and TPE material are used to make pacifiers, baby bottle parts, and food preparation items like spatulas. The denser version of this same material provides stability for your seat belt buckle and easy access for you! Don't get any ideas, though - you or your kids should not eat or chew on the Buckle Booster. The installer must assess safety.

We own a limousine service and purchased a few of these as a trial to hopefully assist our seniors who might have a few challenges in securing their seatbelts. With car manufacturers now intergrating the seatbelt receptacles into the seats, it can be difficult for anyone to locate their specific receptacle, especially those that are side by side.While these are available in various colors, we selected the yellow which allows them to be easily visible against our grey interiors. They are made of a soft but sturdy neoprene-type material, and fit snugly over each individual receptable; even those that are side by side, without interferring with the adjacent connector. They are easy to disinfect and keep sanitary in between each use as they remain in place, constantly affixed to their respective seatbelt connector.Our seniors rave about how easy they are to use, as they can feel for them as they may be compromised with their sight, or range of motion in their neck, saving them the embarrassment of delays in not being able to easily locate.I can also see this of value to small ones who use a booster seat as they wish to earn, "Big Kid" status, as their dexterity might not yet be fully developed.These are perfect for anyone, of any age, especially thise who might struggle with their dexterity. We are now ordering units for all seatbelt receptacles in our entire fleet.

I bought this to make it easier to buckle my daughter & to have her be able to reach it to start buckling herself. You have to place it really good & push it down as much as you can. The buckle starts to slide down after awhile since it’s silicone. At least it keeps it from getting stuck under her booster seat. It’s not perfect but works for me.

Great concept but they constantly slide up and then the clip won't go in. They are sitting unusable for me now. I got seatbelt extenders instead and they work much better

These dont help at all for the latch that are depressed in the rear seats. in fact it makes it even more difficult to use the belts. it is not designed in a way to elevate those depressed latches. better to get a belt extension latch from the manufacturer not after market
