I was using a cheaper battery powered scale that proved to be inaccurate as well as inconsistent to measure the weights of engine components for balancing purposes.Inaccuracy in the measurement of these components could lead to catastrophic failure in performance engines.This scale is consistent and sensitive enough that merely breathing on it will alter the readings. I’m very confident in this scale.

I usually wait to write a review until I have at least used the product. Today is that day. After setting everything up and checking the calibration with the 500 gram weight that came with the scale it seemed everything was good to go. I purchased this scale because I need something large that would weigh to the 100th of a gram. I am measuring nutritional/supplement powder to put into capsules so I cut a piece of paper into a rectangle, weighed it then tared the scale. The first several of capsule seemed off so I checked the capacity of the capsules and I was weighung to the correct specifications. I made sure to dust off the paper before each time I weighed so I would get an accurate reading. I zero balanced the scale and reweighed the paper and got a different reading than I did the first time. So I removed it from the scale again and reweighed and got a different reading than the other 2 times. So I got a nickel, knowing it should weigh 5 grams and placed it on the scale. I did this 3 times and got 3 different weights. The scale is level on a flat surface, I double checked the leveling bubble to ensure this, so I know that isn't the issue. I reweighed the 500 gram calibration weight and it did read 500 grams. Conclusion is it doesn't read to the 100th of a gram, which is absolutely necessary for what I am doing. In short if you need something that is more accurate for lighter weight material then this not the scale you need to buy. So to say that I'm upset about wasting $124 on this product is an understatement!

It can take up to 10 seconds to read accurately. The level bubble is there but there is no bubble. I decided to keep it anyway; didn’t want to go through return process because I needed it right away. It is good value for the money.

Piece of crap. Directions are totally incorrect--including listing that a wind screen comes with the scale--it does not. If you can manage to figure out how set the scale to count parts, it takes 20 tries to get it to the number of parts you want to use so it can calculate the weight of the parts.INACCURATE!! The more pieces you try to count, the farther off the total is.Returning it and looking for a better counting scale!!

The scale worked well enough for the price. One day it just stopped working. I tried a new power cord with no luck. The scale was never dropped or mishandled, just simply stopped working.

I recieced the box from prime severely damaged .. the actual scale seems to be working ok so far?
