I purchased an almost identical item from amazon.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CF7W694/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Had a lot of issues with this time. You can read my post, with pictures, on this item. One thing I did not like on the item I previously purchased is that I could not remove the brass part that extends from the manifold and slides. This part has o'rings in it. In, my opinion, this part adds no value and could fail. This item did not have a way to "ground" the switch. In the first picture you will see the wiring in the switch. Note, there are grounding screws. The previous item had no way to ground the wires. The second pictures shows an overall view of the installation. Note, the seller very specifically states not to use Teflon tape as screwing in the fittings may break the female fittings on the manifold. The vendor supplied a tread locker/sealant to use and suggested that the locker and sealant be used instead of the Teflon tape. I am a retired Mechanical Engineer. Did not read these instructions until I put the tape on the fittings. Suggest that one not use tape and follow the instructions. The third picture, in my opinion, shows the brass things with O'RIngs, and a sliding collar with a vent hole. Have no idea why anyone would install these. I replaced these with a close nipple. Suggest you do the same.In the third picture you can see a 1/2 to 1/4 brass reducer. This was an unexpected surprise. My compressor had a 1/4 inch outlet. Do not feel this adapter was identified in the listing. The last picture shows the relief valve. In my opinion, this is an issue. The threads on the relief valve are too small. Therefore, the relief valve, when screwed in, is not tight. The shoulder of the hex portion of the relief valve "bottoms out" before the threads seal. The good news is that this results, in my opinion, in a very small air leak. I sprayed this fitting with soap and water and the air leak was minimal. As you can see, I did not use the Teflon tape but used the thread lock/sealant included. In my opinion, if you are looking for a solution like this for your compressor, this is the one to get. Do not get one that looks like the one in the link I included at the beginning of this post.

Scored a small 8 gallon air compressor at a yard sale. Unfortunately, its mode of operation was pressurize to the max the safety valve was set at, then it trips, dropping to around 60#. System never shuts off and if you are using tool that required pressure above 60#, it’s useless. I found this unit and thought, perfect to retrofit this bargain. Installation was pretty simple until I tried to install the 1/4†copper pressure feed line from the switch to the newly added tank fitting. The problem - the ferrule on the pressure switch will not fit standard 1/4†copper line. My solution was to replace the ferrule and the nut with parts from a store bought copper line fitting. Fortunately the threads on the new fitting matched and no leaks.I fired up the unit and the switch tripped at 125 psi (a good thing) just as the relief valve started to trip (a bad thing). Thus the second issue - relief valve stayed leaking until it hit 60#. Since my original safety valve was set higher (yes, the original manufacturer’s valve was set higher as system was rated for 135 psi), I swapped relief valves. Now there are two adjustment screws on the top of the valve to (I assume) one lowers the pressure trip point on the pressure switch but the instructions that came with the unit do not define which one. Looking at the mechanics, I’m pretty sure which one it is but CW or CCW is the question. Bottom line - I like the unit and it does exactly what I want it to do but it will take some mods to interface.

Fittings good quality, and kit makes it adjustable so you can arrange it to best suit you needs! Got mine installed and runs like a fine oiled machine!

I am disappointed with this product. My old compressor had a failed pressure control valve and a bad pressure gauge. I thought this product would suit my needs. I was wrong. The pressure switch control valve works as expected. However, the air pressure relief valve trips before the tank reaches 120 psi. This forces the compressor to run continuously because it can't reach the shutoff pressure of 120 psi. In my case, I was able to reuse the old pressure relief valve from my air compressor. The "extra spare parts" that are part of the package are of little to no use. The provided shutoff valves have such a small opening that they restrict air flow too much. The two provided quick connect couplers are non-standard and not usable. The gauges work fine.If I were to start over, I would choose a pressure control valve and a single air pressure gauge to replace the defective parts on my air compressor and not get the extra pieces in this package.

Assez facile d`instalation. Manquait un joint ( gasket ) ou ( o ring ) a l`entrée de la bonbonne.
