I bought this for my toddler (two year old) and it has been so helpful! We use it for screen time, and it has been a game changer in our household. It allows my toddler to visually see the rainbow get smaller as time passes and when the alarm goes off, he knows it times to turn off the TV. It alleviates the surprise factor for him. It’s also super cute! The alarm is loud which is fine and it’s big enough where he can see it clearly. It’s also magnetic which is awesome but we usually use the little stands on the back of the alarm and set it next to the TV. It’s simple to use, in order to set it correctly you have to turn it to 55 minutes and then set it to whatever amount of time you desire. I’m one happy mama and I have one happy toddler! We love it!

I love this timer my daughter loves it to probably one of my favorite buys on Amazon it has been so helpful in are daily activity and switching fromOne activity to another â¤ï¸â¤ï¸It’s loud enough and so far so good it is working it does tick if anyone may feel annoyed by that

This timer has a magnetic strip on the back, which is not as strong as I thought. I was hoping the magnet attached to stick the timer along the metal frame of our classroom door or window. Another issue is the sound level of the timer, it’s way too quiet. We found it impossible to hear even when the class kept their voices and activities to a normal sound level. In the end, the only use of this timer was during rest time when the room was silent.

This visual timer has helped me communicate with my two year old. It really helps him to see the time passing and to know to expect the transition. Plus he thinks it's just really fun

After years of using similar timers in my classroom, I was looking for a visual timer for my own kids at home. This one is by far my favorite! No batteries needed, strong magnet to put on the fridge, built-in stand for tabletop use, loud but not overly obnoxious ringing sound, cute rainbow star visual. I would definitely buy again!

This timer's ringer has only ever worked once. No matter how many times I've set it to 60, and set the actual timer. Don't be prepared to utilize in the classroom as I thought I would. It is now just a paper weight.

Finally a product that does not require batteries or constant recharging! I love this large, mechanical timer with a magnetic backing making it easy to mount on your fridge. It also has a kickstand so you can set it up on a desk or in any room of the house. We have ours on the fridge and you can see it from anywhere in the whole kitchen. To "wind up" the timer you just need to put it to the 55-minute mark and then set your time. It does have a loud ticking sound as it counts down the time but the timer ring doesn't keep going in an irritating manner, which I like. One loud ring and it's done.The Secura 7.5 inch timer comes with a cosmic rocket and cloud pattern that is engaging. It's a perfect fun visual display for kids but we adults enjoy it too. Even though it is not as accurate as a digital timer, it still gets close to the mark. We have our laundry in the basement and it's impossible to hear the laundry timer from upstairs. Setting this timer for the laundry works well and is accurate enough.The magnetic backing is strong and the timer is sturdy. When I wind it up it doesn't slide all over the fridge. I love using it to time the steeping of my tea. I can be in the bedroom and hear it clearly from the kitchen. This is a fun yet functional timer that has become indispensable in our household.
