The first thing I want to say about this Loocam Security Camera System—is that the cameras connect to the DVR with a BNC connection.This is important because these days most camera surveillance systems are wireless or PoE connected to a NVR. And while the cameras and recorder look similar, they are very different in connection and features.Nevertheless, there are situations and locations where I prefer a wired connection, and this surveillance system is totally reliable and performs great. Anyways, the wireless cameras that record 24/7 also need a wire electric cord for power.The included eight cameras would be a very good option for a small business. I suggest this because the price is affordable, and it's the type of system that would last years. These cameras viewing range is excellent, both during the day and night.And the DVR includes a 1TB HDD—that has lots of capacity to store weeks of recording. The cameras in this surveillance system connect to the DVR with BNC connectors and an electric cord for power, both come wrapped in a single long cable, and there is a cable for each camera included.I ordered this surveillance system as a backup for another system that I have. Because there was an incident that wasn't recorded by the NVR, and I decided to have a backup just in case.

The camera system monitors started making an alarm noise . We reset the system several times no luck . The company will not respond to email nor do they have phone support. Do not buy this system.

It’s a good product and easy to use and set up play back is quick and not bad
