Easy to install, 6 mounting screws and 3 locking screws. Skis need to be staggered in order to accommodate the bindings. I added pipe insulation for padding to prevent the arms from potentially scratching ski surfaces. I felt like my narrower skis could slip through (maybe not) so I wrapped a long bungee cord around the bindings for added support. Maybe overkill but skis are too expensive to take chances. My son’s wider skis fit fine.

With any ski rack that holds skis by the tips, you'll need at least one strap to hold the skis together. More expensive articulating ski holders that pinch the ski below the curved tips don't necessarily have this requirement. Just food for thought before you get this and are annoyed.Besides the need for straps, this ski rack seems of high quality. The way the hooks are fixed in place means they are not moving and they're very sturdy. I have no doubt this ski rack will outlast the skis.Don't have enough skis to fill this rack up? No problem, it can hold just about anything else you might typically hang in a garage. The only thing I doubt is the mounting screws and drywall anchors. I would suggest mounting to a board which is mounted to studs. Or make sure you don't push the limits of drywall mounting. The finish/paint is rough and there is no rubber cover. I don't think it will damage my skis, but would be nice if there was protection.

This rack is sturdy, well made, and painted well with a tough textured paint. Assembly was simple, involving putting each set of arms in slots on the back, and securing them with one screw that comes up from the bottom.I got the 6-ski rack, which is actually two of the 3-ski racks. I liked that I could mount each 3-ski rack in separate places. I mounted them to a 2x6 in my garage.I would not trust mounting this with drywall screws. Regarding that, the outer two holes are 15-1/2 inches apart. It would be better if they were 16 inches apart so you can sink each end screw into the middle of wall studs that are placed 16 inches apart on center. However each 3-ski rack is exactly 16 inches wide, so they needed to come in from the end a bit with the holes. It would be better if this rack were at least another inch wide so you can center the screws on studs.Like another reviewer said, putting three skis of about the same length on this rack means the bindings of the middle ski will get in the way of the bindings from the two end skis. This rack really needs to be about 6 inches wider. I solved this by putting a short pair of skis in the middle, so the bindings of the short middle skis are offset from the two longer skis on each end.The arms on this rack hold the skis way up near the end of the tips. This puts an outward force on the tail end of the skis, making them want to separate at the tails. Straps on the tails solve this, but with mine the ski brakes still held the skis together so I don't need straps. The shorter inner arms are for ski pole straps, but my poles are Leki poles that do not have straps because they clip onto a loop on my gloves. Many skiers have these strapless poles. However as you can see in my pictures, I was still able to hang these poles by their baskets. So in summary, this is a nice rack that could use a little improvement, the main improvement being to make it a little wider to eliminate the bindings of adjacent skis from touching. The arms can be moved to any location on the rack plate, but if you want to hold 3 skis on each rack, there is this width problem. If you hung just 4 skis on the 6-ski rack, you would have plenty of room for all 4 skis.Having said that, I like this rack and am glad I ordered it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the width issue.

A few years ago, I built something out of wood to serve the same purpose as this, but it never really worked all that well and definitely didn't look as nice (see picture). This is a much better design and looks much nicer than my homemade solution. It holds three pairs of skis, so if you need more capacity, buy another one or two. The hooks are long enough that they will easily accommodate wider powder skis. One tip: Hang poles first because they're harder to get on the smaller hooks once skis are in place. One idea for improvement: My skis don't tend to hold together real well when gripped just from the top like this, so I added a small Velcro strap near the bindings. It would have been nice to have a few simple Velcro straps included in this kit just in case you don't have any lying around.

This is a ski rack for 3 skis and poles mountable by 6 screws. The construction appears solid, but the rack is too narrow for 3 skis. More on this later. There are 3 holder inserts which can be positioned in different slots along the top of the rack allowing different longitudinal alignment. The holders stick out from the wall 13 inches. I mounted all three holders as far apart from each other as the rack would allow. As you can see in the picture, the bindings touch, and there isn't enough room for the middle pair of skis, unless you tilt it in front of the other two pairs. This makes it a bit harder to get the skis out, unless you take out the middle ski first. If the rack were about 2-3 inches wider, then all three could hang vertically. It will still work for 3 pairs, but I took off one star due to the width issue.

Skiing is a blast, but storing skis? Not so much. I was tired of tripping over my gear and decided it was time to give my skis a proper home. Enter the SEHERTIWY Ski Wall Rack—a game-changer.The individual metal sleeves are strong and mount securely to the wall (pro tip: always find a stud for added support). I love that the racks are modular; you can mount one, two, or all three together, depending on your space and needs. With sturdy construction and easy installation, this rack has made ski storage a breeze. My skis finally have a permanent home, and I couldn’t be happier. Time to hit the slopes without worrying about where to stash my gear afterward!

I bought this with the intent to use it for yard stuff (shovels, rakes, etc.) Find a stud and secure it to the wall. This will do the job great! The arms are long enough to hold several items, large our small.
