Love this product. Just bought another set in different colors. Very easy to use. Colors are extremely vibrant. I did 3 pairs of socks and used about half of each bottle. THIS IS NOT LIKE NORMAL TIE DYE so even if you are experienced make sure you follow the directions (they even show you how to do different patterns). For smaller items this product is great. For larger items I would get a more traditional type of dye.

First time trying tie-dye, chose this kit because the low water usage. We got this kit and another of the same brand in different colors (3 bottles in each kit) with the intention of doing six XXL t-shirts. This is advertised as "up to 12 shirts", and taking the size of the XXL shirts into consideration, I figured that two kits would be fine.After watching the Youtube videos from this company, we set out (we ended up using zip ties instead of rubber bands) and realized after the first two shirts that we were going to run out, and we did. The last two shirts received minimal dye. In retrospect, I should have diluted the dye after the realization set in, and that would have extended the amount of dye we had.The quality of the product is good. The colors in both kits were very nice and what was expected, and because these haven't been washed yet, I'll edit in a comment on color steadfastness if it fades quickly. Otherwise, figure that the colors stayed in after washing.These come in little pump bottles. Our pumping fingers became tired after awhile; not a negative towards the product but just an observation. the over-spray was a bit hard to control, but with more experience, I'd be better with it.This will not produce the massive blocks of colors that some shirts have. On ours, there is a lot of white from the shirts showing, so the tie dye is like a painting on a white canvas. This is not a bad thing, and we like how these came out, but it wasn't what we were looking for or expecting. They will get a lot of wear, but on the next one, we'll go with the catsup style bottle dye to more fully soak the fabric.Overall, easy to use, minimal mess, will give interesting patterns, should get @ 6 small-ish sized shirts out of it, and can be used on dry shirts.

I love making shirts with my class but tie-dying in the past was pretty messy espcially when letting the kids make their own shirts. This product is wonderful as the kids are able to pick their colors and spray it where they want it on their shirts. It leaves little to no mess and the colors are awesome. I've already order other colors for future projects.

Was so very excited for these colors to try to tie dye with my toddler. I may try and do an ice dye with the rest of the contents of the kit, but it’s one expensive ice dye and this single mama cannot afford it that’s for sure. Got this and a couple other of the spray kits to do with my daughter (2.5 years) but I would rather just do regular ice dye with the powder dyes than use spray dye for anything really ever again. Though this definitely comes down to personal preference and ice dying being the easiest with a toddler, those spray bottles seriously need some work! And the pink and green colors barely showed at all.. could’ve been great, maybe I just received a bad batch.

Honesty, I bought this kit because all of the others I wanted were out of stock for another month or so. These weren’t my favorite color selections (the green is random with the other two) but my son and I had so much fun with this set. We had a few old white T-shirt’s and I bought two new ones for us and we had such a fun morning. I will add you will NOT get anywhere near 12 shirts. After watching tutorials on YouTube most of them added the color to another bottle and diluting with warm water so we did that also, equal parts water and dye and a squeeze bottle. The spray bottle was hard for his little fingers to use (he just turned 4) so the squeeze bottle (washed out sunny D bottle) worked great. It allowed us to make more shirts because I think we would have only gotten three or four shirts from the spray bottle. I did go over some spots with the spray bottle (pure dye) to make it more vibrant. I’d also recommend reading the directions first :) it seems self explanatory but making the shirt damp first and sealing with heat is a must do! Overall, I’d recommend this kit. Still not my favorite color trio but separately or even in pairs they look very nice. Great to start with if you haven’t dyed before.

I have purchases more than one kit to do Shibori tie dye shirts. This one was the easiest to use and clean up after. The colors are very bright and the results are amazing. Especially good for people who may want to try this tie dye technique but don't want to have the prep and clean up usually required to do this type of dye technique. Highly recommend it, especially for starters.

The purple came out as droplets in a lot of places, and the pink didn't show up as good as the other two. There was enough to do this dress and half of a t-shirt.
