This cab is a no brainer if your looking for a light weight ported 2x12 unloaded that's made out of Birch plywood and not the ultra heavy particle board under $200....I think if this cab been labeled by either one of the M's the price would be more but it's not so that's good for the budget. These are USA made cabs and well made to boot using 100% 7ply Birch....Removable front grill allows speakers to be either front loaded or rear loaded options and mine also included all hardware to mount speakers.I used an EVH speaker with a G12H rear loaded and it sounds amazing....Nothing can compare to this type of quality in this rice range.

I understand building to a price point, and using cheap overseas labor. The problem is this could be an incredible cabinet with basic manufacturing principles. First the speaker mounting holes did not line up with industry standard celestion and eminence speakers. They use a jig and obviously the jigs aren’t standard and don’t match- zero cost to implement properly and consistently.Next up was the piping- nothing a proper glueing technique can’t solve.Surprisingly the wood and woodwork was excellent, the tolex was a budget job but for the price it’s as expected. The grill cloth was also above its price point. The soldering wasn’t great but functioned properly. If you’re not prepared to redrill the speaker mounting holes then, from my experience, spend more and get something a grade or two better. If the holes lined up - 5 star, if the piping was also glued on properly - 6 stars.

Mine came set up for rear loading of speakers, which was perfect. 4 Threaded insets and hardware, per speaker, were in good placement for Celestion UK mount holes. They are not flush with baffle, but are a bit proud. Provided screws were a bit long and would stick out front of baffle, I swapped to shorter screws easily found at hardware store. Also put rubber backed steel washer on screws for nice compressing tightness without damaging metal mount ring.Speaker wires came set for parallel. Easy to swap to series by cutting one neg, and one positive wire, and making a middle jumper out of the cuttings.Relatively light weight. Sounds great. No cabinet rattle. Looks good.Mine did have a small crunch mark where box was dropped on its corner. Metal corner bracket is slightly dented, so wood must be slightly compressed under it. But, wood inside shows no sign of damage, No rattles.Good sounding cab.

The unit arrived promptly, well packaged and in pristine condition. The cabinet was made with 1/2" plywood, plastic black tolex and came with a removable front panel, 8 screws, desiccant bag, 2 input jacks wired in parallel and configured for front speaker mounting. Inside was clean and the speaker holes were nicely machined with no burrs. I rewired for stereo operation and inserted, fairly easily, using the provided screws and some of my own washers, two 8 ohm Celestion G12Hs. There was ample clearance between the speakers and front grill which velcro attached back nicely. Being an open back cab, when using with my Marshall JTM 45 (set to 4 ohms) it sounds just like a Bluesbreaker but is much easier to carry and much lighter than a single combo unit. Very happy with this purchase!!

I love this cab and put to WGS in it and it sounds great. It's heavy with the 2-12s in it but it seems durable and I love the color. It's my go to cab I usually play out of and am impressed with the quality. Easy to install and wire up.Also contacted them for potential different wiring setups with their included jacks, they responded quickly and got me in the right direction quickly. Great customer service!

The aesthetics and overall build on the speaker cabinet I received was very good, sturdy. (The one I received did not have a top handle, which I ordered on Amazon and installed myself - no big deal, but it seemed an illogical omission...)My biggest issue is with the pre-drilled holes, four on each side having pre-installed metal threaded slots with accompanying screws. Unfortunately, my Jensen C12N 12†speakers’ screw holes did not align at all with those slots, being up to a half inch off! I could not remove the metal inserts either, w/o incurring damage tothe wood, resulting in 1/8†gaps between the two speakers and cabinet in all eight of those areas - thus, the speakers do not rest flush with the cabinet. This can obviously prove problematic, and I’ll know once the speaker has been used for a while. (Note: the metal screws provided are at least 1/2†too long, requiring the holes to be drilled out and the extra length of the screws to be cut!)One more thing - before mounting the Jensens (rear mount), I plopped in a couple of car audio sub-woofers (front mounted); they lined up PERFECTLY! Which leads me to wonder if Seismic didn’t pre-drill the holes for a car speaker cabinet - which they also make... may explain why there was no handle on the top, as well.

Accepts 12†speakers of you choice. Long wire leads. Excellent quality. Even more important it sounds badass. Only wish that the orange was slightly more orange and less creamy orange. Awesome cab tho I’m happy.
