After wanting a stage snake for a long time, and now playing with a new band and dealing with 16 XLR inputs, this was the ideal solution for me. The 25' length of the cable is perfect for the small to medium-sized venues where we play. The box itself is very sturdy and well-built. The XLR connectors seem to be high-quality. There is ZERO signal loss when my bandmates connect thru the snake.

Excellent product for the price. I love the drawstring bag to put over the ends(keeps them together nicely) and another one for the box. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 rating is that the labeling on the cords is a little hard to read when setting up. I've only used it a couple of times and the color coding of the wires is some help. It's a small problem - I will probably add a small label on the end of each line to make it easier. Nice sturdy product.

IVE HAD THIS SNAKE SINC E MAY BUT WHAT I NOTICE IS THE CONNECTION ON THE BOX ARE KIND OF LOOSE AND SLOPPY .. If you disturb the cables they can break contact intermittently causing a bad pop in speakers.. This is unacceptable really but its too late for me to return it... I thought I had some bad cables but its the box connectors themselves.. So the price is right but you get what you pay for

Hefty. Works great. It's the main snake we use on-stage to connect all mic, instruments and two other sound panels to the house sound or to the Mackie 3204VLZ3 for larger shows. Definitely will keep them in mind for other stage cabling solutions.

Have used this snake for over a year. No issues. It has been gigged regularly, at least 2 to 3 times a month. Very solid.

UPDATE: Lasted about 2 1/2 years now some inputs are loose and not all push release buttons are working as designed thinkingf about buying a better brand. (CONS)The snake box itself is rugged however the channel numbers on the box seem to be off. To explain I used it for the first time at a gig and my band mates usually help with the set up by plugging their own things into the snake (mic cables etc). The numbers for the channels on the box are not positioned correctly for instance channels 1 through 4 painted on the case are actually closer to the channel 5 through 8 inputs, so what happened is I gave the guys a list with their names and individual channels that they were to plug into but they plugged channel 1 into channel 5 because the number 1 that is painted on the box is closer to the channel 5 input than it is to the channel 1 input. Perhaps this seems a bit nit picky on my part but not everybody is familiar with these sort of things, fortunately I had to plug other things into the box that's how I realized the mistake and I had enough time to correct it before we did a sound check. I will take a picture when I unpack the van to illustrate what I'm saying. My only other complaint is the release buttons on the box are low quality I had a little trouble unplugging a few of the channels because the lock mechanism didn't release when I pushed the button I had to force the cable plug into the unit while holding the release button to get it to actually release.(PROS) Obviously the price point was the biggest pro. The wires seem to be heavy duty and are well numbered for easy identification. Connectors are poor on the stage box and are loose fitting, so any sort of movement will cause a ton of popping in your sound system, I hope they can fix this because their other product seem to be alright for the price.
