There must’ve been a small piece of cured resin from a failed print in the vat. When I went to print, it pushed it through the FEP, resin leaked onto the LCD screen, ruining it. I removed the old polarizing film, cleaned it with acetone(it is glass under the film) then ran the screen cleaner and rotated this new film until I found the darkest orientation. Unfortunately, it was in a way that it didn’t cover the entire screen. But, it was just a small slice that was missing and I cut it from the other leftover piece. I honestly didn’t think this would work, but it did! I did ordered a new screen from Elegoo, but it won’t be here for a while.

Polarization film is well packaged to prevent wrinkles during shipping. Includes plastic paddle for installation which was a plus. My use was for Aquatrax personal watercraft gauge repair. The film is easy to cut and applies easily without bubbles. (as long as surface is squeaky clean). After film replacement, the gauges were easy to read from all required angles. Be sure to orient the front and back films properly or you may be doing the replacement twice. The only drawback to this product is it had a slightly yellow hue about it after installation and the original film had a grayish hue. Regardless, the film works well and is recommended.

I used to replace bad film on my PWC Lcd gauges. The screens displays like new. Easy to use and quality product.

It looked like someone had already tried to use this. There were bubbles all over the clear sheet that covered the sticky side and they show up on the project. I ran it under hot water once it was stuck on the glass and it still didn’t help.

After slanting it at a 15* angle, it worked perfectly to replace the polarized film cover for the lcd screen on my mono x.

Liked the product. Great value for the price. We used it to replace the lcd screen in a Yamaha boat gauge. Polarizing was great.

Used to repair an lcd screen in an instrument cluster, it works, but isnt original gray color, more of a gold hue.
