About this item

  • Linear Polarizer:Widely used in photography industry, kinds of LCD screens
  • Educational Purposes:Please note that in science project and learning physics educational settings, it is recommended to use polarized film that retains the protective film to prevent the adhesive surface exposed, which make demonstrations less convenient
  • Premium Material:Designed with high-quality PET materials, our linear polarized film can effectively enhance visual clarity and reduce glare on a variety of surfaces, offering exceptional durability and long-lasting performance
  • Adhesive design:The polarized film Both sides have protective film and one side is adhesive, which makes it very easy to apply to any surface without the need for additional tools or equipment
  • Product parameter:Dimension: 7.8x11.8 inches/ 20x30 cm, Thickness: 0.16 mm, Package: 2 x Adhesive Polarizing film sheets
  • Tips:After the polarized filter is cleaned of dust, peel off the protective film and confirm the sticky side when in use. Cut to suitable shape, and stick it for use. Please note that the polarizing filter may not be suitable for eyeglass ,3D printer etc

Important Considerations When Cutting Polarizing Film

  1. Adjust Viewing Angle: Before cutting the polarizing film, please ensure that it is adjusted to your desired viewing angle. This is crucial as the effectiveness and performance of the polarizing film depend on the correct installation angle.
  2. Understand Your Needs: Prior to cutting the polarizing film, have a clear understanding of your requirements. Determine the specific effect you want to achieve in order to choose the appropriate shape and size for cutting.

Recommendations for Using Polarizing Film

A+实物展示

Considering that you may need to adhere the polarizing film to a screen or other smooth surface and may need to remove it, we use a slightly adhesive. We have tested and found that the slightly adhesive is sufficient for normal use , but if you need to securely attach the polarizing film, we recommend following these steps to ensure a strong bond to the surface:

  1. Adjust Polarizing Film for Desired Effect: First, determine the desired polarization effect for your polarizing film. Adjust the rotation angle of the film accordingly before proceeding with cutting.
  2. Clean the Surface: Before applying the polarizing film, it's essential to clean the surface thoroughly, removing any dust and debris. You can use a soft cloth to gently wipe the surface, ensuring it is free of dust.
  3. Lightly Spray Distilled Water (Optional): If necessary, you can use a spray bottle to lightly mist the surface with a small amount of distilled water. Be cautious not to use excessive water to avoid unnecessary moisture on the surface. (This step is generally not required under normal circumstances.) Please note that this step should be avoided on electronic devices and non-waterproof items.
  4. Adhere the Polarizing Film: Please note that the polarizing film has protective films on both sides. Remove the protective films from both sides, exposing the adhesive side. Then, stick the film to the surface of your object.
  5. Remove Air Bubbles: After applying the polarizing film, use a flat, soft tool (such as a soft scraper, avoiding any potential damage to the film) to gently press from the center towards the edges. This helps eliminate any possible air bubbles. Be gentle when using the tool, and avoid applying excessive pressure.

By following these steps, you can securely adhere the polarizing film to a screen or other smooth surface.

I have some surveillance cameras over my koi pond, and I wanted to see them without the surface glare. This did the job perfectly for me. Easy to cut up with scissors and then attach with double-sided tape.

I had a burned out lcd speedometer on my atv. Now I have a 100% functioning speedometer. For all the bad reviews talking about the film not having adhesive READ CAREFULLY: the polarizing film is SANDWICHED between 2 clear films. One had a tab "remove BEFORE applying" that exposes the adhesive. The other tab on the opposite side says "remove AFTER applying" that is a clear protective film. If your polarizing film is not sticky, try peeling the clear film off the other side. You can't tell its there til you peeling it off.

The product was made well. I applied it over a laptop screen. I found it was hard to apply without getting bubbles under the sheet. If the adhesive was more like a sticky note it would have been much better but it's too sticky to for redos.

While the product is as described. It is self adhering, polarized, and I did get 2 sheets in the package. The packaging is the problem. I received this in a padded envelope. Nothing inside to prevent bending and nothing on the outside stating the contents were fragile. Of course it was bent and broken during shipping. Both sheets snapped in the same place. Which rendered them completely useless.

I've attached these sheets to a pair of LED lights to polarize the light when doing copy photography. Using these filters, combined with a polarizing filter on the camera, reduces the reflections coming off shiny objects. They're working good so far and the built-in adhesive on one side of the filter has held them in place securely. The filter has a clear protective film on each side which you must remove before use. It's a little tricky to get the protective film off the sheets. I used an exacto knife at one corner to separate the protective film from the polarizing filter. The filter fingerprints easily so be careful/

This takes a lot of patience, but removing the LED glass, scraping off old burnt film, cleaning off old adhesive with goof off and Windex allowed me to cut small sheets of film and get my speedometer back to almost new again. Pics are before and after. 3rd pic is burnt film I scraped off. I used about a third of one sheet.
