I purchased these after using a similar but more fancy product so I will compare the two models. The other product I used was a foam wrapped metal handled bar with plastic feet. This bar put undue pressure on my palm which caused pain when using under weighted body weight conditions. Oddly enough, the simple straight thick wood dowel style of this reviewed product alleviated that issue. In addition the bar holds fast to the ground with the anti-slip rubber bumpers. I was able to do a variety of pushups at different pacing, intensity and surfaces without any issues of the item slipping. The bars are thicker wood dowel type handles affixed on either end with metal stands with rubber style bumpers on the bottom. The handles hold well and are smooth and thick when held and will not degrade over time and use like the more expensive foam wrapped handle does. The handles being wood means with any degradation of the finish from use, a quick hand sanding would restore them to new like condition. The overall size and weight is easy to pack in a suitcase, backpack, or gym bag without issue. They are sturdy and light but easy to pack items around. The handles are a bit longer than I expected from the images so double check measurements before purchase if this is a factor that matters to you. It was not an issue for my use.Overall I think this product is an example of sometimes simple is better and I would highly recommend the item to anyone looking for a travel solution or augment to body weight/weighted body weight exercise.

In short these are long enough and have non-slip rubber pads at the bottom to provide great stability for me as I'm learning to do handstands. The wooden bar size is perfect for my grip.

These parallelettes work great for my planche training, like tuck planche, push ups, forward leaning push ups, elevated feet push ups, wall handstands, static holds, and what ever else you can come up with. They are very sturdy and well built. The overall length is 15-5/8". The metal bases with the non-slip rubber pads are 6-1/4" long and about an 1-1/2" wide. The wooden grip area is 12" long and about 1-5/8" in diameter. I am so glad I bought these!

Good product overall, but had to tape the grips to keep my hands from sliding.

Yeah, these are the ones. Comfortable handle compared to the cheap ones I've owned.

The base is wider. Absolutely the sturdiest I have owned. Used that non-sticky designer medical wrap--and they are looking good to go. :)

I weigh 100KG and started out calisthenics. These parallettes hold my weight easily and feel great to use. Well built, sturdy, and don't slip, they are the real deal, a quality build. I'm very impressed with these low bar parallettes.

Die Griffe sind gut verarbeitet und liegen sehr gut in der Hand. Wesentlich besser als ich erwartet habe. Sie helfen definitiv bei Liegestützen und dank der Gummierung rutschen sie auch nicht weg.

These are appropriately priced - most parallettes are way too expensive for what they are. It's a couple wooden dowels and a basic bracket. Maybe $5 worth of material. It's put together nicely and seems sturdy, I suspect they will last me as long as I need them. The material on the bottom works well for allowing them to grip to your floor properly. I like to use them on my outdoor deck to do dips on the corner railing, as well as to practice handstands in my yard. Without these, my wrists can't seem to tolerate the pressure of being in a handstand position, but with the bars it displaces some of that pressure onto my forearms.
