I built cabinets with 2’ x 7’ 1/2†plywood doors and these catch and unlock easily. I will buy more when I need them.

I recently installed the Self-Closing Push to Open Cabinet Hardware CBRIVE 2 Pack in my kitchen, and it has been a game-changer! These heavy-duty push latches are perfect for hidden doors, providing a sleek and handle-free look that adds a modern touch to my cabinets. The self-closing feature ensures that the doors stay securely shut, eliminating the need for handles or knobs. This not only gives a minimalist aesthetic but also makes it easy to open and close the cabinets with just a gentle push. The strong pop-out mechanism is reliable and durable, making it suitable for everyday use.

I recently moved into a house that just has a really bad cabinet that will just not close. I am afraid if I take the hinges off to do a proper fix, I will never get them back on. I tried this latch as a stop gap. So far, this thing is great! It is able to take the extra gape I have in the cabinet and latch it in place.

The latches are well made, the magnets are latching reliable on the provided plates and the spring that extends the plunger is strong, great for heavier cabinet doors. The main body has a base plate that gets attached to the cabinet wall / shelf and then the latch body is seated in. There are no printed instructions nor any templates for installation included in the package, just a patch of paper with a QR code and an Internet address (pointing to amazon’s media files area) that lead to a downloadable pdf with the instructions. Still, no template to make it easy to position for installing. The latches come with three pairs of small screws, and they need four screws for the main body base plate and, optionally, two for the matching metal plate for the magnet to latch on. The instructions do not state which pair is for what, so there’s a bit of head scratching on this: sunk head ones work best in the adjustable, elongated holes in the base plate, the second long pair is probably also best on the base plate, the shortest ones – for the metal plate. The set comes with a small screwdriver that has a bit with two heads, flat and Phillips. Unusually good tool for such a set, with very good grip and small, great to use in confined spaces.

I am hoping that this works the way it supposed to just simply because this is a necessary tool to have in the RV. As we know they RV cabinets when they're moving around tend to fly open and that's an issue that no one wants to have. These magnets are supposed to be able to be strong enough to keep those things closed and I'm looking forward to having that security. No one wants to open the door and see a mess. These appear to be strong and they seem like they're gonna be easy enough to install as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what they're able to do and how long they're gonna last in our trailer.
