I have an old concrete slab subfloor that I wanted to put a new engineered hardwood floor on. Unfortunately due to a combination of a large tree that's too close to the house, poor workmanship during the initial pour decades ago, and the ravages of time and poor grade around the house, it had become too uneven for the tolerances my new flooring were rated for.As such I needed to do some leveling. Of course the easiest way to do that is by using self-leveling cement. But that's also something that you can absolutely mess up if you're not careful. Two people at a minimum are a must. This is where this kit comes in. It takes care of a lot of the potential problems that can be caused by inexperience. With the spiked shoe attachments you don't need to worry about ruining your shoes if you take a step too close. The spiked roller lets you easily get things to settle and best of all includes a nice spray guard so the rolling doesn't leave your walls and yourself covered with cement. (I would still recommend going slow with that to prevent a mess) The serrated squeegee type thing was just the ticket for getting the leveler spread out across the needed area.

A well made kit with pretty much everything you need to apply epoxy or other protective coating to your concrete floors. You will need to find a long handle for the rollers if you want one. Everything else is included. A great kit to get you started on your DIY floor painting project for your shop or garage.
