I don't know how far they go but they're pretty good for kids. Although the settings and buttons are too advanced for the kids. If they just leave the settings alone and just press talk they're very cool.

These walkie talkies are perfect for kids. The sound quality is pretty decent. My only complaint is that there isn't some type of lock button so you can't accidentally hit the channel selection button while wearing. Otherwise, great for kiddos and the size is perfect for their little hands.

We got these for Christmas in 2022 and our children still play with them now. Absolutley worth it to see them running around fields or in the house. The range it quite long so you can really spread out when going for walks. Only thing to mention - at times it will pick up other radio waves so ocasionally you will hear strangers on the other end. There are plenty of channels to choose from though so easy to swap.Very easy to handle as well. Age range of my children was 5 to 9 and they were all able to handle them.
