After some research, these paddles seemed perfect for us as beginners with an intention to start with good mid-range paddles. These have a wide sweet spot which adds to our newbie ability to control the hit without expert placement of paddle contact with the ball. The Carbon-fiber surface gives nice control when contacting the ball and we were even able to play around with spin, both intentionally and unintentionally. The 16mm width allows us to hit the ball with no weird vibrations and get a good solid pop. For us there was plenty of power, since that's not a beginners game for us. The regular sized handle was also great since we are not attempting two-handed backhand power shots. The carrying case was great and we like the all-purpose balls which we used on an outside court. I used regular 3M electrical tape to add a layer of protection along the rim, which blended in seamlessly and worked to some extent as long as we are not crashing the paddle into the ground attempting to scoop a low hit. Great choice for us. highly recommended

It’s awesome for beginners with great grip and affordability! I started playing pickleball this summer and bought this set and am quite satisfied with its quality and durability.The handles have great grip when your hands get sweaty and the surface area gives you good range to hit the balls. They are light, colorful designs and the set comes with a nice sling bag and four indoor balls.

We just started playing pickle ball and learned on heavy old paddles which make these seem like pro quality. LOL. These are not the ones that our instructor recommended, but they are comparable in quality but slightly cheaper. We love that they are light weight, the handle grips are comfortable and they brightly colored. So far we are delighted. They seem well made and loved that the bag and balls were included as a set. Great starter set. We received them super fast too. Will definitely recommed to our friends.

Very good play so far with these. They are much lighter the cheap wooden ones I was using. My wrists very much appreciate the weight reduction. I also feel like this set has just the right amount of grip to get some solid contact with the ball. Very satisfied.

Awesome purchase for beginners or for spare paddles. Only downside is that the bag falls apart fairly quickly.

These are excellent paddles for newcomers to pickleball. The paddles are lightweight, comfortable to hold and the honeycomb design has a lot of forgiveness and reasonable power, which is great for beginners. Came as a pair with carry bag. Highly recommended.
