UPDATE: I accidentally left this on an outfit that I removed in the middle of the night and put into the laundry. This item was WASHED and DRIED and STILL works!!! Obviously I do NOT recommend this, definitely don’t try this at home. But if you make a very sleepy mistake like I did, you might get lucky like I did. Such a hardy device, love it!I love this device. My baby was born 5 weeks early and still needed time for his lungs to develop. It gave me great piece of mind that this device would let me know if he stopped breathing. If I didn’t have this device I don’t think I would get any sleep because of my constant worry and checking in on him. I highly recommend.Pros: it can sense respiratory rate most importantly when there is none. If baby moves position it is quick to notice. Alarm is good and noticeable. App is easy to install, pair and navigate.Con: Body temperature is way off (says my baby is always around 88-90•F), alarm notification doesn’t work on Do Not Disturb setting (phone dependent). Babies heart rates are generally higher and it doesn’t pick up faster rates, but it definitely picks up apnea's periods.

Around 3 months we transitioned our baby to her own room and this sensor is what gave us the piece of mind to be able to do that and for all of us to sleep peacefully at night. It’s very easy to use.our baby never notices it clipped on to her diaper. The battery life is estimated to last around a month which so far that has been accurate for us. It does come with one extra battery and easy to replace. One concern is the Bluetooth compatibility. Our bedroom is right next to our baby’s so it never has had any issue with connectivity issues but if I am downstairs it will connect and disconnect with my iPhone. Not a huge deal because when I am awake and downstairs I have the monitor and mainly utilize this sensor when I’m heading to bed and asleep in the next room. Some people are complaining about the rollover alert but you can change the settings on your phone. Once my baby mastered rolling over ...she did find it more comfortable to sleep on her belly (even though I’d always make sure to put her on her back when putting her in crib) and once I was comfortable with her on her tummy I just turned off that alert so it wouldn’t alarm me in the night when she rolled. All in all I am very satisfied with this more affordable option than the owlet and can’t imagine having our baby sleep in another room without this extra protection measure.

This thing is amazing for any parent who just worries fitfully over their baby sleeping at night. I had a horrible time trying to sleep before I got this.Having said that, it’s not the most accurate with everything it says it is. I have the first version so I can only speak to its accuracy, and sometimes it will have some false readings. I’m speaking mostly in regards to the temperature alerts but sometimes the movement alert can go off by accident too. This can be caused by the sensor moving as the baby moves or the battery getting too low. It will only alert you when the battery is at 5% then it will promptly die the next night. And speaking of that, this thing eats batteries. You can’t turn it off. You can turn off the notifications which says turns it off but if you give it a little shake you can see it’s still on.The batteries aren’t too expensive so I’m not complaining too much about that since it really is such a relief to have something capable of doing this in the first place. The real big complaint I have is with the troubleshooting. I’m a very tech savvy person and I’ve had a few very irritable nights fiddling with this thing. If you have the version I do without the base (I bought the base later and let me tell you just don’t bother with that thing. It’s useless) then you can only connect this thing to one device at a time. That’s an issue when I have daughter dearest going to stay with a grandparent for a night. Luckily, I have an old iPhone that it can connect to and I bounce between that and an iPad- what I would suggest using as the main device you connect to.You can fix the connection issues by having the app save your login credentials (keep those written down somewhere because it will log you out if you even accidentally open the app on another device). Login then it will load and say there’s no device connected. Select the reconnect option and shake the heck out of the device until it flashes. You’ll need to do this every time you switch devices. It’s a pain but well worth it in my opinion. This sensor has gone off a few times before to alert me my daughters movement was slow. I can’t know if this thing saved her life or not considering every time that happens I wake my baby to make sure she’s okay and every time she is fine. That’s not to say her breathing wasn’t weak at the time. It could have been. With most doctors not knowing how SIDs happens, I have this to keep me from worrying.I know there’s pricier options on the market and I can’t speak to those but I really like this one and if you’re not in the best financial situation and have a smart device you can connect this to, it’s well worth the price to me.

I am so thankful for little advancements in technology as such that ensures peace of mind. This is for the parents that like to be safer than oops, sorry, i took a chance. In life accidents happen all the time especially when it comes to new, Inexperienced, exhausted parents or even carless caretakers. This tiny device that weighs close to nothing provides that extra step of security to make sure your infants temperature and body movement is monitored to safe levels at all times. This is especially important during incline positions, like when the infants is in swings, carseats, and bouncers. Whenever their chin drops to an uncomfortable position that restricts their breathing. If the power goes out, or a sudden raise or drop in temperature quickly changes your infants temp to a dangerous levels 10x quicker than your own. The device is there to quickly notify you. You can customize your childs device settings to your environmental preference and accuracy. I believe this Sensu is exceptionally helpful for the single or exhausted parent who had to many hours without sleep and may be absent minded. Or to the breastfeeding mother who dozed off while feeding her child so that she doesn't wake up to find horror. The sensu stays on and in my opinion non intrusive and bothersome like some similar products in the market. I highly recommend.

Produto muito bom, cumpre bem a função de medir os movimentos respiratórios. Apenas o clip que prende na fralda poderia ser um material mais suave para o bebê (emborrachado ou silicone).

I like the product, it makes my spirit more calm regarding my baby but sometimes it's too sensitive and the alarm start when everything is fine
