I expected it to be easier to keep the pebbles and the sand seperate, since that was how it seemed to be advertised. The sand won't sift through the blue sift. The sand itself works nicely when pressing the sea creature molds into it. My kiddos really appreciate the magnetic fishing pole.A fun thing for the kids at a reasonable price and lots of room for creativity.

This is a great sensory toy. My 7 and 3 yr old spend hours playing with it. But it gets MESSY. I would suggest outdoor use if possible. Because the sand geta EVERYWHERE. but I love the locking container, it makes it easy to carry and pack everything up when kids are done with it. This is a fun activity for toddlers for sure.

Firstly this item is great for the price, it kept my son busy and happy, it can be messy, but it is fun, the fishing pole is flimsy so you might have to reinforce with duct tape. It doesn’t have a scent like other competitors but it’s not a huge thing’s to me, it’s a nice Sandy color and has a good texture to definitely recommend just remember that the pole will probably break

Pros:This sand playset is like catnip to my toddler. He loves the kinetic sand and I love that everything fits in a box that I can leave outside in the weather. This is definitely a messy toy, and outside use is best!Cons:Some of the toys are a little chintzy. The worst part is probably the magnetic fishing line. The line has a tiny magnet on the end, and the toys have tiny little screws in them. It's effectively impossible for a small child to effectively pick up the toys with the rod. Heck I can't even do it! It would have been better to just omit this non-feature.All that said, for the price, I think this gives a lot of play value. I've gotten days of use out of it with my toddler.

My toddler loved the items include but sadly the fishing pole was made so cheaply it broke on the first day of use.
