This was a replacement piece for my daughter's chemistry lab set. It serves its purpose perfectly.

This is well made and it's nice not to have to buy 50 of them. Unfortunately for me this holds only .5ml samples and I needed 1ml. It didn't say in the description so I rolled the dice and lost. Product gets 5 stars, just be aware it's only for 1/2ml samples. If you found this info helpful, please click "Yes" below. Thanks!

It makes a great palette For small amounts of alcohol ink painting especially with the metallics or you don’t use much

Okay, so I'm not actually reviewing this for a scientific purpose. I like to paint as a hobby, watercolor is my medium. I thought of using something like this while I was working in the lab, but obviously I'm not about to swipe company products. So I decided to see if it was here on Amazon, and it is. This is the cheapest one, so I bought it. Using this plate as a palate is SO much better than a regular palette. I mean there's no palette out there that gives you 96 wells. The wells are deep enough to hold a small amount of water and really allow you to get deep pigmentation without wasting a lot of paint. 96 wells also means that you can mix a variety of colors. And best of all, if it dries out, just add a little water from a dropper and you're good to go again. The value can't be beat. I mean it's $5 for what I think is the best palette I've ever used. I have a separate one that is 48 wells for coloring bigger areas, and I don't think I'll ever go back to using plain old plastic palettes again.

Not quite what I expected, but hopefully will work for the lab it was required.
