I wanted a place to store cash and I tried the cheaper little lock boxes but they were all so flimsy and easily picked open. I opted to spend a little more and I’m glad I got this safe. It’s not the most durable safe, but for the money it will deter most thieves if you have it bolted down. It would take a lot of effort to get into this safe when bolted down, but I wouldn’t trust it to just leave it out as it’s small enough that someone could simply take it and work on opening it later. For the price though, I really like it. It’s easy to operate and the keypad is very responsive. The beeping is a little annoying but it is what it is. It works every time without fail and quickly locks itself again after you access it. I check every time to make sure the door has locked when I’m done and it’s been very reliable. Glad I picked it up.

Got this lock box to hold our gun and all of my tip money. At first I was going to send it back but then I changed my mind. For the price it does the job and is big enough for what we need it for.

I have been working with a 14 y/o who is too young to open their own bank account. He has since saved up a good chunk of money working with me and has no safe place to keep it at home other than on his person in his wallet. I decided to purchase this to help him from carrying all of his cash with him at all times and encouraged him to use it as a savings account. Upon opening his safe he was ecstatic that he has a safe place to store his possessions and no other siblings can get to them. My main goal was accomplished for this safe and its a constant reminder that investing in something to protect your valuables is not a bad idea. My personal opinion upon setting the box up was that it is not heavy duty. The door has no padding between the box and the door so when it closes it clanks. I fixed this with a felt padding (no biggie). The metal is quite thin but durable. The handle is plastic and feels cheap, has a lot of play when locked but does its job. I have a feeling the handle will be the first to break. The beeping is quite loud so everyone will know you are going to open your safe soon as you start clicking around. Overall I'm happy with my purchase because it will serve its intended purpose. It may not be the strongest box out there but for the price I could not help myself. I'm sure a crowbar will open this with a bit of time but it will cause resistance and a struggle to a thief.

My kids wanted safes for Christmas and received these. My 6 year old immediately put his keys inside and closed the door. The keys were locked inside with no way to get them out, as batteries had not yet been put in the keypad. It seems like an obvious design flaw if it’s able to lock without using the key to lock it. I reached out to customer service and they are charging me $18 for a new key, when an entirely new safe is $32. You mean to tell me the keys make up half the cost of the safe? I have a disappointed little boy.

A great little safe that keeps honest people honest. Great for keeping things safe and out of reach. Kids room, dorm, office, etc.

The overall build quality is ok, and it looks good if a bit cheap, but the materials are lackluster. First there is NO fireproof insulation in this safe. It is solely made of plastic and steel, and as a result has no certification for fireproofing.The safe walls are very thin, (~1.5mm including paint) not 2mm as advertised, the door is just under 3mm, again including the paint. At the least this is misleading. Normally the thickness measurements are on the bare metal. As a result the safe is vulnerable to prying attacks, or even a hack saw, or hammer could be used with minor effort, to expose the contents. As a result, it is very light, even for a safe this sized. It should be properly secured, using the bolt holes provided, on the back and bottom. If not it could be simply grabbed and easily opened later.The hinge is recessed but is very lightweight and with no bolts on the hinge side is vulnerable as well.The locking mechanism is standard for a safe in this price range and the backup key is adaquate. The handle is nice and large and is easy for an older person to use.In closing. If properly secured it should resist your standard smash and grab robbery but that’s about it. I bought this for my father-in-law to store his medications and a bit of cash in, and it is more than adaquate to discourage nosey houseguests from pilfering. For the price, it’s not bad, but I have bought better for around the same price point.

Fácil y sencilla de usar, no es la cosa más resistente del mundo pero el tamaño también la hace fácil de esconder, si necesitas guardar dinero u objetos pequeños de valor. No es lo más apropiado si quieres guardar documentos.

NO ES LO QUE SPERABA, LA CALIDAD DE LOS MATERIALES NO ES LA OPTIMA, EL ASA CON LA QUE SE ABRE LA PUERTA DESDE QUE ME LA ENTREGARON ESTA CASI CAYENDOSE, EN GENERAL NO LO RECOMIENDO.
