Reviewing the Carbonfiber paddle in Blue. The pros are that it's indeed noticeably lighter than the aluminum and fiberglass paddles I own, and is reasonably stiff and strong. It does bend under load, but the clamps really do help eliminate any play and it feels solid in hands. However, you would never mistake this paddle for the nicer carbon fiber paddles in the >$100 range. The grip at the top feels like it fell off of a Little Tykes car. Really puffy, hollow inside, visible seams, also definitely one of the largest paddle grips I've seen, too big for my hands (I wear men's size L gloves). The plastic the shaft clamps are made of, although different, also feels very cheap. I don't know how long it'll last, but I do have concerns. The paddle blade looks like a standard nylon blade and is probably OK, nothing premium about it, but at least I expect it to last. Something I can't say about the graphics on that paddle. The paint is stiff and brittle and applied over nylon that is notorious about being slick and bendy. Looks cheap brand new, and I expect it to get much worse from here. I can scratch that paint off at the edges with just my nails without too much effort. The shaft material is good. Doesn't look like premium carbon fiber to me, but at least it feels reasonably close to that in hands. What separates it from the more premium paddles is the machining (or complete lack thereof). The other composite 3-piece paddles I've seen usually have impeccable machining around the joints with really-really tight tolerances. Most don't even need additional clamps. The pieces just slide together perfectly without any play. Not this paddle. From what I can tell, they've just glued a smaller diameter pipe inside the shaft to join the pieces together, and drilled a hole for the spring clip. That spring clip hole is slightly off, not quite round, and had fibers sticking out as burrs. Quite awful really, compared to everyone else, but adequate for the job. That lower clamp, though, definitely has work cut out for it and is there for a reason. The spring clip looks like cheap galvanized steel and will probably start to rust very soon.I, specifically, was looking for an inexpensive paddle to use in salt water with as few metal parts as possible. So, am I satisfied with my purchase? Actually yes. After discounts this paddle was in the same price range as the very basic aluminum paddles of very similar quality, and those definitely do feel much heavier and flimsier than this. You get what you pay for, and in this case, what you get is not that bad. Now I just hope that it lasts.

The paddle that came with our Paddleboard broke out in the middle of the lake while my son was paddling. We had to take apart a kayak paddle and give him half lol. I immediately got on Amazon and purchased this paddle to replace the broken one. It’s definitely much better quality than the one that originally came with the board. I’ll be buying more to replace our other two Paddleboard paddles before they break!

My paddle board didn’t come with a paddle and this works great! It’s pretty good quality. Very easy to assemble and it’s light weight. Would recommend this!

Great paddle small when packed away but large enough for me at 6ft2 great quality, and the bag is very nice as well. I dislike 3 piece paddles usually but I don’t mind it with this one.

Great bargain on a decent inexpensive paddle. There is a little wiggle in the handle pieces when assembled but otherwise a good basic paddle. Ordering a second one today.

Comes in three sections and can extend for a taller person (very handy) nice grip - cupped enough that it moves the board right along with nice solid strokes. Comes with it's own bag - very nice!

It's a cheap paddle so it is what it is. The handle has a really rough/sharp seam line across it from the molding process which is really uncomfortable. It's going back for that reason. To all of the people complaint about the shaft not locking:. The cam clamp is adjustable. When it's open spin it around clockwise one full rotation and try again. It's it's still loose repeat until it's tight. This applies to pretty much all adjustable paddles. You want to just right enough not to slip in normal use.

El ajuste que determina el largo no funciona, entonces solo se puede usarlo en el tamano mas chico/corto :-(Me pueden enviar otro?

This paddle is a replacement for a broken one, it is a little heavier than original, which may be okay for durability of the paddle.
