Works great. I needed it for a scientific instrument to replace a chipped one I was using. I had no problems with the cuvettes, and you should be happy with them too. The case is a bonus, I did not have one for my old one, so having one really helps keep them protected.

I bought these cuvettes for an undergrad laboratory. These are as good as those bought from other well known places. Great price. The cuvettes got shipped quickly. Highly recommend.

While Science Outlet's "quartz" cuvettes indeed have negligible fluorescence, when compared to standard BK-7 glass, typical of microscope slides, these cuvettes LEAK. After leaving a water-based sugar solution in for a day, the water diffused out the interface between the clear and frosty glass. This was evidenced by the significant dried up sugar that was coated on the outside. Within a day, at least 25% of the 1.5mL leaked through. These are pretty much useless for storage, but the bigger problem is that contamination is left within the interface and will be very difficult to ever clean out. I bought 5 of these, so far of the 3 I have tried, all 3 have the same problem.

Although purchased/advertized as quartz, the UV cutoff was higher than expected - more what would be expected for regular glass. This still worked well, but please take note.
