If the bed frame has pre-existing holes, align the double holes with the bed legs and tighten the screws. Finally rotate the base of the bed frame support bar until the bed frame is stable.

If there are no pre-existing holes in the bed frame, fix the bed frame with the center support leg and auxiliary plate, and then tighten it with screws

The original twin bedframes that I bought had legs in the middle that would slant. They were supposed to hold significant weight, but I was afraid they would collapse with any weight over 140. I bought these and placed them next to the supports and they are very strong and supportive. I no longer fear the bed collapsing even at 250 pounds. These are exactly what I needed and reasonably priced.

I put them on my king bed and so far so good they did not bend and they are very sturdy and durable. I would definitely recommend these to the buying public.

The legs are good except for the hole placement. If you screw down to much the plate will bend. But I will get a spacer to solve the problem also will drill the holes closer to be more strong. But these are the best expandable legs by far.

Maybe it was just how we were installing them, but every time we tried to attach them and screw them down tightly, they kept collapsing every time we laid down, which was a pretty unpleasant experience. We wouldn't get them again.

These work perfectly for my very specific problem! My place has original 100+-year-old wood floors, so naturally there are spots that have sags or dips and are uneven. I have an IKEA Slattum bed, which has two additional support legs on the crossrail. But because part of the floor underneath the bed has a dip, the bed’s support legs (which are not adjustable) weren’t making contact with the floor—resulting in very bad sleep and a sore back! I was so fed up and ready to just get a new bed frame in a different style, but I decided to try these adjustable legs first since the cost is way cheaper than having to buy a new bed frame altogether. And wow, what a huge difference these adjustable legs have made! While I don’t think I would trust them to hold up a bed entirely (with the clamp method of using them to attach to the crossrail), they DO work great for additional support! Based on some of the negative reviews, I made sure not to tighten the bolts TOO tight to help prevent the metal plates from warping. Took a bit of trial & error in adjusting the legs, putting my mattress back on to test, and then taking it off again to re-adjust to get them right, but once I did I was so happy they worked! I only ordered two, which have worked great for the 3+ months I’ve been using them, but I might order two more now just to see if it will help give it even more support.

Bought a kit. Installed them under my king size bed. Omg. A major change. I actually thought my mattress was finished and started to think I had to change it. For me this is actually like having a new mattress. Plywood’s and the original cheap legs from the bed frame couldn’t do the job to keep the mattress from waving slowly to the center. This did the job. Very happy. I recommend third product 😎💪ðŸ‘
