To the seller, the wheels should exceed the weight limit what it is attached to. Even with the thinner walled poles, this big shelf should support at least a few hundred pounds. The poles are thinner walled than the ones from the shelves at warehouse clubs that I own. On most of my shelves, the way I space my shelves out, I have one left over, so I thought I can get some of the poles and wheels and make a couple more shelves cheaper than buying another from the C warehouse club, and also putting to use the extra shelves I have left over. These poles will not support as much as the warehouse club shelves due to having tinner walls. Glad I bough 1 set as a trial run, I'll look elsewhere. These I can probably just use the screw in adapters and make some up as 3' tall with the threaded levelers instead of the wheels, or maybe use these crappy small wheels if I'm just storing light weight items on the shelf. I like the option of being able to put heavy stuff on these, which is why I generally buy them, the ones at warehouse club are great.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I had about 300 lbs on these and the wheels buckled. Probably would be great for storing toilet paper or something light.
