The plug doesn’t work out of the box, as has been noted by a number of reviewers. To make it work, inflate it in a container of near boiling hot water. This will cause it to permanently expand sufficiently to plug a 2†pipe. The pic shows the uninflated plug after this treatment.

Nice to be able to use without a compressor. I bought for another use.

This test plug does not hold. It's worthless for any sort of pressure test for drains. I needed a test ball to show the city inspector a shower pan water test. This could not inflate enough to hold the water. Get a test plug that you inflate with a pump. This hand pump is cheap and a waste of money. Don't buy...
