Worked out perfect. I had a chair cover that the existing elastic was stretched out. This replacement that I used was better than the original.

Believe it or not, I bought this because I want to take it to the "shoe repair shop" we have near we live, to use on a pair of brownish/beige open back shoes I have to make them into sling backs. I like the sturdiness, it is not cheap quality.
