My dad has been selling old jeans on eBay and needed some fabric measuring tape (the grandkids kept playing with his old ones). I thought this one looked manly and worked well. It is leather like the color is nice. Is accurate, flexible, and durable. Great value. Would also be good for body measurements. Nice and compact.

EDC = Every Day Carry. Yep, I'm that old Boomer who likes to carry all sorts of "necessaries" in my cargo pants pockets (don't tell me cargoes are out of style; it has nothing to do with style - LOL). And a tailor's tape comes in very handy at times. Ya' just never know when you're going to need to measure something.I've been using a retractable one for years. But the leather cover on this one really elevates it. And it's so light you won't even notice it's there until you need it... and, of course, it'd be good for your sewing basket too.It may just be the same as the cheap plastic ones under the leather cover, but with it it's good looking and feels like good quality.I got one for my daughter, who is a realtor, as a stocking stuffer too. She was skeptical about keeping it in her purse at first, until she had a client start asking how wide the doors were and how deep the counters were at a condo she was showing them. Thanks to dear-old-Dad she was able to whip out her tape and tell them on the spot. Now she won't go to a showing without it.

I like having this just in case. I keep it at work, but I sometimes throw it in my purse if I need to go to a store and need specific dimensions.

Needed this for measuring clothes in-store before trying them on. The measurements are accurate and the size is convenient! It's also very nice to look at and I've nmhad no issues with the button so far.

Me gustó mucho la piel de la cinta por que se siente muy suave.La cinta se desplaza sin problemas al oprimir el centro, y se queda fija si sueltas.
