Innovative Dual-pole Design for Cutting Clarity Bright, in-your-face, and articulate to the extreme — Seymour Duncan’s Parallel Axis Original humbucking pickups are designed to provide maximum clarity at even the most extreme levels of high-gain mayhem. This pickup’s innovative dual-pole design pairs with an Alnico V bar magnet and a hot, overwound construction, resulting in an immense level of natural sustain and an aggressive treble-tinged growl. From singing single-note leads to harmonically complex chord shapes, the Parallel Axis Original will transform the tone of any guitar into a pleasing palette of glassy highs and firm, tight lows. Finally, this particular Parallel Axis Original sports Trembucker spacing to perfectly pair with a Floyd Rose-equipped 6-string. If you’re committed to draining every last drop of definition from your favorite axe, Sweetwater guitarists agree that it’s tough to top Seymour Duncan’s Parallel Axis Original humbuckers.Seymour Duncan Parallel Axis Original Trembucker Guitar Pickup Features:

Its a pretty hot pickup, has a very cool interesting sound. Open chords and single notes sound great. If your looking for tight, percussive palm muting on the low strings I might look elsewhere. Its a very 80/90s shred sounding pickup. The low end is slightly muffy but it can be nice in a way depending on what your doing. Mildly scooped mid sound, lots of hifi sounding presence, slightly woofy/muffy low end. Very saturated.Cool unique sounds great for shredding. Not the most versitile pickup, for higher gain stuff.

The "classic" rock pickup that almost no one knows about! Extremely versatile and well-balanced voicing that's great for thickening up a thin or bright sounding guitar without becoming muddy or unclear. Medium-high output with enough presence to be heard. Very articulate, excellent harmonics, crunchy bottom with a smooth top end and a unique playing feel that only the "Parallel Axis" technology can deliver!
