The Seymour Duncan SH-6B Duncan Distortion is one of the most popular pickups to come out of their factory in some time. It has joined the ranks of the '59, JB and Jazz models as one of the go to pickups for guitarists who need a solid and stable upgrade.
Made For Gain
Unlike the other pickups that I mentioned before the Duncan Distortion is a bit of a high gain metal machine. With a ceramic magnet and an extremely high output this pickup is made to be thrown through a high gain amplifier as loud as it can run.
Coil Tap
Because this pickup uses a 4 conductor lead wire you can still dial it back nice and easily by tapping the coils. This means you can achieve classic single coil like response in a guitar that has just two humbuckers. You never know when this extra sound can come in handy even when using a lot of gain.
Trembucker Spaced
This pickup is the trembucker spaced version meaning it is designed to work on guitars that use classic 'F' style bridges, hipshot hardware or Floyd Rose style tremolos.

I put these in my Gibson Les Paul Tribute and they sound phenomenal over the stock 490t pickups that were originally in there. When playing hard rock and metal I get just the right crunch I was looking for. The cleans and lead play were much better than I expected as well, proving how versatile these are. The only downside is I don't like the classic rock tone I get out of these, but hey thats not my play style anyway. If your on the fence about these, do yourself a favor and pull the trigger.

This is a name brand pickup... well known for its quality and sound. It took me 15 minutes to replace the bridge pickup on my Ibanez.. and wow.. it gave a new life and tone to it. Really awesome upgrade.

I put this pickup in the bridge of my Carvin CT6 and it was a perfect upgrade. It's definitely high output. The low end is nice and tight. Mids are pronounced and crunchy. Treble is present but not spikey. I would definitely recommend this pickup for any music style where distortion is involved. By itself on clean settings it's okay but there are better pickups for that. I paired it with a SD Jazz in the neck and in the center position with both pickups on it makes for a great chimey clean sound.

I originally purchased one of these pickups about 10 years ago to install on an Ibanez Destroyer. I loved the sound, these pickups are very versatile. The cleans are very bright and clear, and when you turn up the volume and gain the distortion out of these pickups are punchy, bassy, yet remain clear. That guitar is long gone, I purchased another one of these pickups to install a Gibson SG Special that i've owned for just as long.I haven't tried any other pick ups , I'll say I got it right the first time!

Awesome distortion and easy-to-use install into my HH telecaster. Much better than the PG that came with it. I like this better than the sh-4.

I was looking for something for metal but with good and well rounded tone as well. Tried 4 other before this one even a $180 pickup but this one did it for me. Great for both soloing, rhythm and hard rock as well. I highly recommend.

Installed this pickup into my Fender Blacktop Stratocaster for playing metal, and it sounds incredible!! Really heavy, but clear too, so happy!! I paired it with the Jazz humbucker in the neck and it's an incredibly versatile combination!!

El producto llego en perfecto estado el ubiera no existe asi como en esta ocacion pero ojo con el enpake en otras ocaciones llega en la clasica bolsa de burbujas en exelente estado como esta vez solo k hoybsolo fue suerte x las personas k lo manipularon x k en esta ocacion solo venia en una simple bolsa de plastico nada protejido contando k es una pieza muy delucada de circuitos gracias al fabricante k ai proteje au producto en un estuche para k llegue al 100 %en buen estado fue solo suerte suerte k algunos no tienen. De la pastilla es un exelente suena cabron tiene un brillo y una ganancia increible se la puse a mi epiphone sg le cambien las conexiones como la epiphone les poul 1950 y los condenzadores para la misma y suena espectacular cabe mencionar k son diferente el tipo de conexion de una lespoul k de una sg y la de la lespoul 1950 tiene maa ganacia mas brillo y presemcia saca todo lo k ofrece la pastilla k le pongas en mi caso seymour duncan c escuchan cabron tanto para metal agrecivo como rock clasico eso ya depende de la ecualizacion y efectos k le metas esta es la segunda k compro para otra guitarra con el mismo provedor un exelente oroducvyo 100% recomendable mas adelante comprare otro par de seymoun duncan
