Worked excellent for my application. Had a variable speed blower in a residential furnace that quit working. Pulled the blower unit out, took the end off of the blower motor and found the thermistor was burnt and one of the leads completely burned through. Unsoldered it from the circuit board, soldered this new one on and voila!! It worked. Nearly all HVAC repair companies will require a complete motor replacement or even an entire new blower unit. This saved me probably over $1000, since new variable speed HVAC blowers (residential) are very expensive. Youtube has many videos specifically addressing this issue.

Prompt delivery and had the thermistor installed for $40 on the ECM board of my blower motor by a computer repair company in town. Apparently, these thermistors burn out and it's a common problem with these variable speed blower motors. Furnace and blower motor are running perfectly again. HVAC repair company wanted $1400 to install a brand new blower motor. Thanks!

After coming home to a cold house when my Trane furnace had shut down, the technician pulled the motor controller module to show me that it had burned out the thermistor. Originally expecting it to be under warranty, he was to come back the next morning with the part and replace it. We were surprised to find out that it was no longer in warranty and the replacement module was going to be nearly $600. (Trane only offers a 5 year warranty if you don't mail in the registration card which the previous home owners didn't do!) So, I elected to fix it myself. The part arrived in 2 days as promised. A quick solder job to replace the thermistor and bolted the module back on. While not the cheapest place to buy this part, it was the only place I could get it delivered during the holidays reliably, so it was worth the extra price. I'll be sure to keep an extra on hand, as it seems to be a common issue with these furnaces.

HVAC Serviceman quoted a price of $2021 to replace a motor on my furnace. After researching YouTube videos and Googling I decided to try replacing the SG379 Thermister in the Motor Control Assembly. A little bit of work tearing the motor out of the furnace and replacing this part then reinstalling everything but well worth the savings for the $18.45 part. Probably could have saved myself money by ordering the same SL32 1R030 generic part but very satisfied to same over $2000 by using this part. Will order a couple of spares to have on hand as I have seen others who say they have to replace these every couple of years.

This product worked and has continued to work for over a year. I soldered it in and potted it with silicone.

My Trane NV80 wouldn't blow. Started troubleshooting and found that it has a very expensive variable speed fan. The module that this part is in is over $400 and from what I read would still need to be programmed. Not something I could have done. Found this resistor was toasted in it. Soldered this new one back in and we had AC again. Gave a 4 star because I paid for overnight shipping. Took an extra day to get in. SO had to deal with another day of my house being 93 degrees when I got home from work
