These are fantastic for animatronics! I recently started working on some working interiors from Knight Customs for my crawlers. He designed them using HiTec HS55 servos that were noisy, and weak. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I decided to swap to these SG90s. I had to design my own adapters to use these servos, but these servos are so much better. Quiet, and stronger. I will be using these for any animatronics from now on.

I am trying these out in my RC crawlers to shift in and out of second gear. The process usually has some random resistance for a second depending on gear position in the transmission. I just plugged them in and set the trim levels, which includes around 80 degrees of movement. So far I have heard no clicking or grinding and the shift is occurring every time. On one test I literally shifted over and over for about 3 minutes. No indications of failure or overheating of any sorts.If it can handle this torque requirement than smaller RC's should be a breeze for this little servo.

The SG90 Micro Servo 9G Servo Kit worked exactly as expected! The servos are responsive and precise, with smooth control over the full 0-180° range. Perfect for small RC projects, mini drones, and robotics arms. I’m not 100% satisfied with the quality and performance, a few motors gave up and did not work.

The real story here is 8 for this price is a steal. I know servos like this dont hold up in a crash so having 8 for this price is awesome! The quality is exactly the same as any other micro servo. Holding power is on par with every other plastic gear micro servo i have. All work flawlessly.

I used a servo tester to run one of these servos at 5 volts and was very happy. These little servos respond quickly, and have a good amount of torque for their size. They are lightweight and quiet, and they each come with 3 different arm attachments and mounting screws.

Replaced the servos I damaged in my FT Explorer with these and so far, so good. Nice and smooth and zero issues moving the massive ailerons on this foam board build. Great price for 8 of them.

They are very small. They aren't that strong. But they work well enough, and are perfect for small projects where accuracy isn't critical. I am using them for drawer latches on our RV.
