This sail is enormous and great quality as far as I can tell. However unless you are a true DIY kinda gal/ person. This is NOT easy to install. I made the mistake of thinking I would attach it to the 3 corners of my house. I was wrong, it needs a ground post of some sort. I am not that diy inclined. So just be very confident in that department and you’ll be golden, I’m sure

I was careful with my measurements and yes, this thing arrived as IS 8' as listed, but that was only the furthest tip, there was no shade coverage for most of that 8ft. Yes, this is 100% my own fault for not drawing this thing out, sadly, the triangle shape wasn't going to work in the area we had to devote to it. We ended up going old-school with an umbrella and stand set up. Outside of being very sure you had plenty of coverage, I will say that the shade cloth appeared to be pretty well made. It's a pretty simple set up, and the install would have been a breeze.

At certain times of the day the sun hits my deck and it can be blinding. I also keep potted plants out there that were getting scorched. Once I put this up problem solved. looks really cool too. Seams are well sewn. You have to stretch the shade very tight and it has held up with the tension and breeze.

Exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfectly in my space. Like the mesh as a posed to the water proof. This way the water doesn’t pool and cause stress on the material and connections.

The Shade and Beyond Sun Shade Sail does a fantastic job at providing shade and looks great once set up. I use them at my dog daycare, and they’ve been a lifesaver on sunny days, keeping the area cooler for the dogs. The material is durable and holds up well to the elements.However, the ropes that come with the sail are practically useless—they’re flimsy and not reliable for securing the sail. Plus, no hardware is included, so you’ll need to purchase those separately. I ended up using clothesline cable and proper hardware, and once I did, the sails worked perfectly.If you’re willing to invest a little extra in better accessories, these shade sails are an excellent option. Just don’t expect to use what’s included in the box!
