  • Pack the bottles in your checked luggage with other toiletries, as shampoo bottles are expected there. Avoid placing them in carry-on luggage due to stricter inspections. They are reusable—just hand wash after each use.

  • At Smuggle Mug, your success matters. Larger bottles will attract attention during X-ray scans, increasing the likelihood of detection. With your 17oz bottles, you can add smaller 8-ounce sunscreen or lotion flasks but don't overdo it.

  • To ensure leak-proof bottles, test by filling with water, attach lid only, and placing upside down on a napkin for 2+ hrs. If dry, it's leak-proof. Add the peel-off seal for extra protection. For defects, contact Amazon for a quick replacement.

So I purchased a set to take on my first cruise and it worked like a charm! It comes with the piece to pour easily and seals to place at the top of the bottle to prevent spilling and to appear unopened. (I didn’t experience any spilling or leaking) Though the name is slightly different they didn’t pay much attention at all, just ran it through the scanner machine like at the airport. I was able to fit a liter of Hennessy in them combined. I stuck them off in a zip loc bag with other hair products. I will definitely purchase more for my next cruise to save more money on drinks lol
