If you are looking for a very absorbent towelto use for sopping up a lot of sweat, look no further.I recently purchased myself an infrared sauna and quickly discovered that I did not care for my previously owned hot yoga towels because I could feel the grippy bumps on the hard wooden bench. (Wasn’t as noticeable at Hotworx on a yoga mat and needed the grip so I didn’t faceplant in downward dog!) I didn’t want thick terrycloth style that pills or leaves lint. I wanted soft smoother material and these are perfect. I got the large to lie on the bench and the small to continuously dry off the rolling sweat. They are super soft and unbelievably absorbent! I love the colors. Started with lavender, just ordered pink and plan to get several more so that I’m only doing laundry once a week.

This Shandali towel is THE towel to purchase if you are serious about your yoga practice. After practicing hot yoga for a year with a hand-me-down mat and a beach towel, I purchased this Shandali towel along with a Manduka PROlite yoga mat for myself for Christmas. A friend also gave me a different hot yoga towel that was said to be top rated. After trying both towels with my new mat and making some comparisons, I can HIGHLY recommend this Shandali towel. This towel stays put even when I transition between poses where my foot may slide all the way from the back to the font of the mat or vice versa (e.g., from downward facing dog to pigeon). I have also noticed that even when I am in a long class and really dripping with sweat, this towel feels dry. It has really been amazing to me. Perhaps this towel works so well because of my new mat, but I have noticed a lot of movement, moisture, and bulk in my other towel, so I think the Shandali towel is really the key. This towel is very lightweight and super thin; when folded, it hardly takes up any space in my gym bag. I prefer the gray color because it is not visually distracting, and the size is perfect for my 71" mat (medium size). Even after washing, the towel fits perfectly from front to back of the mat, and it provides about an inch of overhang on both the left and right sides. Finally, the price of this towel is very low compared to other high-quality towels I researched. After washing, I let this towel air dry because I want to prolong the life of the towel, and I have noticed that it dries very quickly. Today, I plan on purchasing a second Shandali towel so I can always have a fresh one on hand when I go to class. I hope you enjoy this towel as much as I do, and I think you will find that it enhances your practice by increasing your stability in friction-sensitive positions, such as downward facing dog (my hands NEVER slip with this towel), and by reducing the amount of distractions that can arise from a poor-quality towel.

I have had this towel for a little over a year and it is the best yoga towel of the three that I purchased, by far. In fact, this is the same thin microfiber type of towel that my studio hands out. I am one of those people who slides all over the place and I would have a hard time without a towel. My studio has water bottles in the classrooms so that folks can spray their towels before class and I spray both ends of the towel and that's what makes it non-slip for me. I think it also depends on the type of mat you have. Don't skimp on the mat. At first I did not want to spend the $$ but then I ended up replacing my mat for a Manduka Pro and I LOVE it. OK, back to the towel. I just ordered another one of these because I am doing yoga 4x per week and my other towels don't make me as happy as this one. This one by Yogitoes is OK but it's bulky and I slip less on my Gosweat microfiber which costs half as much. This towel is very good quality. It fits my mat perfectly and keeps me from slipping during heated yoga sessions. It is lightweight, and dries quickly. It also washes well. Would recommend to friends looking for a yoga towel

I've been using this towel for almost a year in my hot yoga classes and the quality is still great, the size is perfect and it doesn't slip. I bought one for my partner and he only had to dampen it a little the first time and now it works great.

Super ligera y absorbente, Funciona ! no te resbalas, pero tiene que haber algo de humedad, si no sudas o si el clima es completamente seco te resbalaras, recomiendo para climas húmedos/calientes o si sudas mucho durante tu practica
