Used this vacuum for hardwood floors. Lightweight to carry upstairs. The suction is great ! Hope it lasts a long time.

It is lightweight, suction better than expected, does reasonably well on carpet and rugsDisappointing that there is no light to see what one is vacuuming.Jury still out on cleaning filter, etc.This vacuum is much better than the one I previously ordered and immediately sent back.

DO NOT BUY FOR CARPET. I was really excited about this vacuum, but it sucks… just not the way it should! There is no roller, so it doesn’t glide over carpet, even low carpet. You have to force it to move & then it bounces as it catches on the bristles. 20 minutes later, after trying every setting & you can’t tell I even attempted to vacuum the very small area I was trying. I should have tested it sooner, but now I’m past the window to return, so essentially threw away a couple hundred dollars, which I’m thrilled about (sarcasm).
