Bought this instead of similar one for 10x the cost. Had it professionally Calibrated and it came within advertised spec. As mentioned,the one star reviewer was not checking the squareness correctly.Side note, while it was within spec, the calibration sheet it came with seemed to be fake. Doesn't matter to me as I planned to check it anyway and it was better than expected.

Ordered this granite square to check the perpendicularity of CNC machine tool's table to z axis travel. Product arrived quickly and checked it against our calibrated cylindrical squares. The granite square we received appears to be .0002" to .0004" at the top of the 10" length at the front face. Left side was about .0010" at 10" and the right side measured about .0015" at the 10" height. Overall granite square met my expectations given the price point.

I have no way to verify the tolerances but a couple of quick checks with machinist square etc shows the block to be in spec. Nice smooth surface, appears to be well ground

I initially bought a cheaper square but it was out of tolerance by .0003†so I thought I drop a little more cash for a brand name and behold this one is out by .002†wow that’s crazy. The top is 0†the bottom measured at -.002†not worth it

It measures within spec. There's also a one star review from what appears a one star machinist. One can't measure squareness with a surface gage. What he was actually measuring was the slight tilt of the surface gage column. Should have used a squareness comparator and a known good reference.
