Application
The top and bottom surface of each parallel set are micro ground and lapped to ensure the matching accuracy of +/- .0002". These parallel sets can efficiently support your work piece while positioning it on your machine bed with the help of a clamping vise.

These parallels are nicely machined and do what they are supposed to, a must have for use in milling vise. I got a nasty cut when inspecting them, so take the time to check the edges - I used a fine bench stone to break all the edges to avoid future cuts.

I am just beginning the hobby of metal machining and have no need of ultra-precise tooling. Considering the price, I have no complaints. They are packaged well and useful to hold parts at the correct height in a milling machine vise.(I haven't used these very much yet and will provide a long-term update once I have.)

Expensive parallels are rarely worth their exorbitant cost. These function well. They are often not 'straight', but you simply don't need them to be! The latch on the case is hard to use. We just leave it closed an unlatched next the the BP. Gets used every day. Each parallel has two holes in it.
